Obsessive-compulsive disorder is a difficult thing to treat. In order to make patients give up their greatest fears, you also have to confront them with their greatest fears. At least, that's the plan of Dr. David Tolin on 'The Ocd Project' (Thu., 10Pm Et on VH1).
[Spoiler alert.]
Patient Kristen Love has an irrational fear of germs and of contamination. So Dr. Tolin tries to deal with this fear by meeting it head on. And what's the method that he uses? He wants to have Kristen touch a glass of a glass of urine. This happens while Kristen is hanging out in her bedroom. Dr. Tolin's goal is to show her that germs aren't so bad.
Kristen instantly freaks out and starts crying. Meanwhile, Dr. Tolin protests that he's doing it all for her own good. Um, Doctor? We don't mean to be critical, but no...

VH1 has scooped up a reality pilot in which office workers battle for a $50,000 bonus.
The recession-appropriate project locks a group of pencil-pushing employees in their workplace for 72 hours. During lockdown, staffers must try to convince their co-workers to vote for them. Whoever gets the most votes wins the bonus.
The project's working title is "Office Bonus," and 3 Ball ("The Biggest Loser," "MasterChef") is set to produce; Jd Roth, Todd Nelson and Adam Greener are executive producers. If greenlighted, the show would join 3 Ball's "Dad Camp" and "The Ocd Project" on the network.
This summer, VH1 also is launching Chad Ochocinco dating show "The Ultimate Catch" and Season 2 of Terrell Owens' reality effort "The T.O. Show." Both get under way July 11.
