How wonderful to awaken this awareness. To find family roots and connections despite exile and sacrifice is gifting rich treasure. I admire the FYR team's research around/over/through barriers to enable these families to learn part of their story. Compelling escapes born from s spirit that grew through the generations. Both guests- Esparza and Chang- were very genuine.

Fascinating take on two exceptional second generation Americans. Watching them discover the richness of their history was truly exciting to watch. Raul Esparza's journey onto the past was especially enjoyable. It's hard to imagine that he won't hop on a plane one of these days and travel "into the past."
