Interesting experiment
OJT28 February 2015
This is a fascination film project coming out of an improvisational idea where a bunch of young immigrants to Denmark was told to improvise an act where it was all up to them if what they said was true or fiction. They were given just a setting, before they started to talk. What would come out of this?

They come from different countries. The only thing they have in common, is that they are young immigrants to Denmark, and have their own though and ideas, based upon their own reality.

The result is interesting and prize winning. I enjoyed it, though I feel it would have been better in a different environment. My problem is that the environment, a black studio with only fire chairs, feels forced. The whole idea in a sofa would feel more real. It takes the reality out of it, you could say. Thinking it's an environment that is neutral, it becomes the opposite, you think about it.
