The end of the film (and the end of the series) was kept secret from most of the cast thus they were told that scenes being filmed were strictly for trailer use and ended up being the finale of the film.
During the post production and re-writes that happen along the way with any film, this film was changed the most and subsequently extensive re-shoots took place nearly a year after principle photography. All the actors had so much fun filming with Brett that everyone happily returned.
Scott Kirfman (Cole) and Matthew Jasso (Dillon) rehearsed their fight scene for 6 weeks before filming it. It took six hours to shoot and was shot on the last day of principle photography for the saga.
This film marks the only time all seven of the Innocent Killers are in one shot together.
