Sex & Nudity

  • There is no actual nudity or sex depicted, however there are some crude references to sex, bestiality, masturbation, and pedophilia.

Violence & Gore

  • There is no violence or gore shown, perhaps the occasional mention of violence within the act.

Profanity

  • As compared to some stand up comedians, the profanity is actually fairly infrequent. Gervais certainly doesn't use profanity as a comedy crutch. However, strong language is used on occasion including the F and C words, although the latter only once as far I as can recall.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Gervais is seen drinking what we assume to be beer from a Foster's beer can on several occasions during his performance. This does have the implication that it is okay to drink alcohol while working or performing. His material includes some minor references to hard drugs such as heroin. But the references are not especially explicit or positive.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some of the references in the material are pretty crude, intense and not politically correct. But this is basically just a comedian standing on a stage and at times walking around. There are no sudden or unexpected scenes depicted.
