Raven Banner Entertainment has today announced that the horror thriller titled the Incident will be distributed shortly. This is a found footage style of film, shot much like a documentary. A journalist and a cameraman investigate the disappearance of several factory works only to go missing themselves. Then their digital journal is disseminated and the result is truly horrifying!
Raven Banner Entertainment has not announced a specific release date for this title, but expect a showing in 2011 (prediction). More release details for this title are below.

Last month we brought you the first word on the upcoming Argentinian cinéma-vérité zombie flick Incidente. And though we had stills, a trailer, and many bits of artwork, details were still very much on the scant side of the fence. Until now.
According to director Mariano Cattaneo Incidente was inspired by the likes of [Rec], Lamberto Bava's Demons, The Blair Witch Project, and even Stephen King’s novel Desperation.
"Incidente does not have infected people, nor zombies. It's home to demons who use the humans like clothes," says Catteneo in an interview on his blog.
Undead Backbrain scored the plot crunch, which you can dig on below.

The only thing remotely positive about suffering from insomnia is staying up into the wee hours of the night watching trailers for independent horror flicks. In your underwear. Writer/director Mariano Cattaneo’s upcoming zombie opus “Incidente” combines too of my favorite things — namely, satanic cults and the living dead — and gives them the ol’ “[Rec]” treatment. The embedded trailer doesn’t give us too much of the good stuff, though it dishes out just enough horror to whet my cinematic appetite. Well played, Cattaneo. Well played. I’ll be keeping an eye on this one. Argentinian writer/director Mariano Cattaneo lists Demons by Lamberto Bava, and Stephen King’s "Desperation" as primary influences for Incidente, a zombie horror film that looks to be in the vein of Spain's [Rec] and its Hollywood counter part, Quarantine.
Doesn't look quite as well done or intense as [Rec], but hey it's demon zombies running around a old building that's the scene of a crime.
Official trailer (via: Undead Backbrain) after the break.
Embedded video stripped, see full HTML version.
