Sex & Nudity

  • None. But there is a scene where the Shemakhan queen tells the visiting prince seeking to marry her, that they can be alone together in his room later, which shocks him, and he states that he is European and nothing human is alien to them, but he runs away to his room and locks the door. He tells his horse that it is his first time. They never do anything. The horse tries to flirt with a female horse, but gets kicked when he puts his arm around her. All the love in the film is completely platonic.

Violence & Gore

  • Just low level children's cartoon violence. Nobody (including monsters) gets killed, cut, or stabbed, just beaten up. When people fall from a great height, they always land in water.

Profanity

  • Probably none, but it's hard to tell, since it's in Russian with subtitles.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Perhaps one scary scene when one of the warriors is trapped in a dark swamp with a monster hiding in the bushes and setting traps, they get separated. His donkey, Moses, is seen hanging from a tree by his leg, and it's not completely clear that he's alive (although he is). The horse gets caught and is about to be cut up with a meat cleaver before he gets saved. But the rest of the movie is a lot lighter.
