The long-running feud between Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun is set to be explored in a new docuseries commissioned by Warner Bros. Discovery U.K. and Ireland.
Tentatively titled “Taylor Swift vs. Scooter Braun: Bad Blood,” the two-part documentary is part of Wbd U.K.’s “vs” series, which includes “Johnny vs. Amber,” about the legal battle between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, and “Kim vs. Kanye: The Divorce,” about Kim Kardashian’s separation from Kanye West. Optomen TV, an All3Media company, will produce.
The doc will focus on the fallout between Swift and Braun after the music mogul purchased the rights to Swift’s first six albums in a $300 million deal in June 2019.
“True to the ‘vs’ format, the two episodes will examine the opposing sides of the argument; one exploring Swift’s side that the sale was conducted without consulting her and that she has since been blocked from buying back her masters,...

Matt Smith has recalled an amusing interaction he once had with Prince Harry.
The actor starred as Prince Philip in the first two seasons of Netflix’s hit period drama The Crown opposite Claire Foy’s Queen Elizabeth II.
In the wake of the Queen’s death last week, Smith has reflected on one conversation he had with Prince Harry at a polo match.
“I met Harry once, at polo, which sounds a bit grand, but it wasn’t that grand,” said Smith during an appearance on NBC’s The Today Show on Thursday (15 September)
“And he walked up to me and went ‘Granddad,’” the actor continued, shaking co-host Savannah Guthrie’s hand to mimic Harry’s gesture to him.
The House of the Dragon star said: “He watched the show! Well, I can’t claim to know if he watches it currently, but he watched a bit of it then.

A two-part documentary about Johnny Depp’s 50m (£43.2m) trial against ex-wife Amber Heard is set to be released later this month.
The docuseries is a follow-up to Discovery+’s Johnny vs Amber, which chronicled Depp’s 2020 libel lawsuit against British newspaper The Sun for calling him a “wife beater”.
Johnny vs Amber: The US trial will reportedly present a “forensic account of the key evidence and turning points of the case from both sides”, and reveal “in graphic detail the struggles inside the dysfunctional and turbulent A-list marriage”, according to a press release from Discovery+.
It is scheduled for release on Monday (19 September), NME reported earlier this week.
As per news reports, the two-episode series includes interviews with Depp’s lawyers, legal experts, and reporters. It also features behind-the-scenes footage of the trial that captured America’s unwavering interest, and spawned a parallel social media trial that was...

There’s a pervasive question repeatedly asked through “House of Hammer”: How did Hollywood’s Golden Boy seemingly turn into a pariah overnight?
Unfortunately, this three-part Discovery+ docuseries has little new to say on its subject — or the themes of power and abuse — because we’ve seen this narrative play out many times before. Hell, even just this week actor Shia Labeouf, accused of abusive behavior by an ex-lover, embarked on a redemption tour in the hopes of reshaping his own narrative. Bad behavior from Hollywood’s It boys didn’t start or end with the “Call Me By Your Name” star.
Then again, “House of Hammer” is about a generational legacy all its own. When the actor came to prominence in 2010 with the release of David Fincher’s “The Social Network,” much was made about his connection to Los Angeles’ prominent Hammer family. As this project will remind you continuously,...
