On "Only in America" (Wed., 9 p.m. Est on History) Larry the Cable Guy joined a team searching for paranormal activity at an allegedly haunted civil war site in Newport News, Virginia.
Larry certainly seemed to get more than he'd bargained for at Endview Plantation when the medium he was with suddenly fell into the thrall of "an earthbound soul who's very trapped."
When asked to help the trapped spirit cross over to the other side, Larry joked "but I am a mere cable guy."
As the medium worked to help various spirits "cross over," it turned out that the ghostly kids that were said to be in the house didn't want to leave. "They want to play a little longer," said the medium.
When the medium came out of the trance, Larry said "That's crazy! I've never seen anything like it." As he walked down the stairs he emphasized...

On "Only In America" (Wed., 9 p.m. Est on History) Larry The Cable Guy visited Bubba Blackwell as he prepared to make his first really big jump in ten years.
The motorcycle daredevil was almost killed in July 2001 when his attempt to jump over 22 cars on his Harley Davidson went seriously wrong and he crashed.
"I ended up in a coma on life support," the walking medical miracle told Larry before going on to list the massive injuries he sustained in the crash.
"Broke 19 bones, shattered my pelvis, broke six vertebrae in my back, one in my neck, crushed my shoulder ... punctured both lungs, ruptured spleen. The worst thing is, I had bleeding on the brain, they didn't know if I was gonna come out of it."
Larry acted as emcee as Bubba prepared to jump his motorcycle over a line of trucks. He took off at the right speed and cleared the trucks.

The Naked Cowboy is an institution in New York City's Times Square. Wearing nothing but some small underpants, a pair of cowboy boots and a cowboy hat, he sings songs and poses for photos with tourists. He even conducts weddings.
On "Only In America" (Wed., 9 p.m. Est on History) Larry The Cable Guy hit the Big Apple and decided to check out this pop culture phenomenon for himself and raise some money for charity at the same time.
So Larry stripped down to his tighty-whities and was a Naked Cowboy for the day. With only a guitar to protect his modesty in the rain, Larry joked, "I'm the reason New York never sleeps!"
He summed up the Naked Cowboy's "Only In America" success story: "[He's] just a guy who had one of those shockingly simple rags-to-riches great ideas that happen in America."
As a reward for his efforts, Larry...

On "Only In America With Larry The Cable Guy" (Wed., 9 p.m. Est on History), Larry took a trip to the Serenity Springs Wildlife Center in Colorado to visit some big cats.
As Larry said, Serenity Springs "sounds like the kind of place you can relax and let your guard down." However, this place was far from serene as it was full of lions and tigers, many of whom didn't seem too pleased to see him.
When Larry approached the cages a snarling white tiger shot itself across the enclosure and began hurling itself against the fence. He then managed to similarly enrage a lion at feeding time.
Later, feeling cocky, Larry took a tiger for a walk on a leash, but it went for his rear end after he made the newbie mistake of stepping in front of it.
Apparently, should you ever find yourself up close and personal with a tiger,...
