This recruitment film for the Royal Navy's air adjunct -- the planes still carrying the tricolor bullseye of the RAF -- is a rather dull affair. I made the mistake, many years ago, of accepting a ride from a U. S. Navy pilot, and landing on a carrier deck was, well, not enjoyable; I took a launch back to land. This short does not seem exciting, more a matter of dull routine, even when a plane crash lands on deck.
Still, it's always good to hear Ralph Richardson speak, his clear voice making even the most obviously polished bit of prose sound spontaneous.
