Better than Most

This Episode had a good mystery , some action but most of all the back story that has been waiting over 3 years may be coming to the fore - the Chemistry between Magnum and Higgins may finally be happening - the show runner and producer have dragged this loop about as slow as they can without losing the show - it has been like watching grass grow. I am concerned that they may pull a " When Calls the Heart " season 8 final disaster next week - if anything they should have learned that a Bate a Switch season final is a series killer - When calls the Heart only survived because the gave the go ahead for season 9 before the rating came in for the Season 8 finally.

John Bobek, that guy who played Greg Nettles, was excellent. I've seen him in other shows and will be on the lookout for him in future Magnum episodes. Any chance of a spinoff series?

Another pedestrian episode, there seem to be rather more of these now. The procedural story is well formed and interesting, but there is too much extraneous baggage in the secondary plots which drags it down.

Of course the Magnum/Higgins chemistry is interesting, but it has been milked for so long now that I no longer care so much.
