- A bunch of drawings show Ballister killing a bunch of guards on a Rhino, blood is shown.
- Nimona turns into a bunch of animals and knocks out guards.

- A knight guard talks about how someone bit his arm and to put a bandage on it.
- Nimona gets an arrow on her leg, blood spurts are seen when Ballister touches it. When he removes the arrow, nothing happens.

- In one scene, you can see a person who is probably making a potion or an alcoholic drink and a person who can be very briefly shown probably doing some drugs. Though the scene is blurry and all the moments are brief and not clear. But it does look like that.

- Persistent cartoon violence.
- Some of the scenes listed as being frightening are really not quite as frightening as mentioned. There are brief scenes depicting an animal running loose destroying things while knights get knocked out, but nothing graphic.
- Nimona has a very frantic/eccentric personality which may frighten some people.

- At the end, Nimona comes back but then ballister shouts out holy s**t but it gets cut off for the credits.

- After Ballister receives his promotion as silver heart, he accidentally kills the queen with his sword. There is then an intense slow motion sequence that follows with him destroying the big TV screen. This is a pretty intense scene.
- Nimona becomes a monster and destroys the town.
- There is a moment when a character contemplates suicide.
- Nimona's backstory may sadden some people.
