VH1 has once again turned to "viral" marketing to promote an upcoming TV debut. The network has released "Missed Connections," a video that ties into the imminent premiere of the new show Hindsight.
Hindsight, which debuts on January 7th at 10 Pm Est, centers around a woman's attempt to travel back to the 90s to change her future. "Missed Connections" utilizes a similar premise by focusing on a woman named Daniela who posted a note on the missed connections section on Craigslist.
Daniela's nagging regret concerned a guy from the laundromat, with whom she wanted to exchange numbers. In the video, a group of confidants arrange a meeting between Daniela and her flame, which takes the form of an elaborate dance number set at the laundromat.
In a release, VH1 explained how the video is "timed to kick off the New Year, when people reflect on the past and on missed opportunities.

Written by Aireka Muse and directed by Dax Brooks, "Tap Shoes & Violins" is a romantic comedy that sounds like it could be pulled directly from Craigslist's Missed Connections, about "what happens when two people feel like they have met someone special but realize a moment too late." The upcoming short film stars Jessica Williams of "The Daily Show" fame along with Michael McCusker, Shannon Kane and "Dear White People's" Brandon Bell. From the film's website: Both Charlie and Scott often feel out of place but during a brief encounter at their favorite coffee shop they feel as if they might have just met someone special. But neither...

It’s February, which means single people across America are scrambling to find a date before the Feast of Saint Valentine, more colloquially known as St. Sulky’s Contemplate-Your-Morality Day. Some of these people, sadly, will turn to the Missed Connections section on Craigslist, where Internet Romeos can reach out to strangers they failed to seduce with alluring bus ride stares. Luckily for them, Jimmy Kimmel and Community‘s Alison Brie teamed up on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to bring a little romance to their creepy, subliterate come-ons. With just a little mood lighting, a little saxophone and one of TV’s hottest stars, the...

She’s always up for a good laugh, and last night (January 30) Allison Brie showed up at “ Jimmy Kimmel Live” to help read some seriously pathetic Craigslist posts.
Host Kimmel explained the point behind the “Missed Connections” section of the popular classified ads website before launching into the bit.
“Let’s say you run into someone, you meet someone, you’re looking at someone someplace, and for whatever reason, you didn’t exchange contact information with them. With Missed Connections, you can write something and post it and hope that they will see it.”
From there, Jimmy and Alison took turns reading entries from Missed Connections, including the “Girl in Lion King Sweater Eating Papa Johns,” “Eagle River Glory Hole Couple,” and “Walmart Paint Lady.”

As Her explored, we're all just looking for connection in this mixed-up, wacky digital age. And thus, we have Craigslist Missed Connections. Last night, Jimmy Kimmel had Alison Brie join him in reading some terrible ones (or terribly romantic ones, depending on how sexy you find Subway sandwiches). Sure, you might think they are making fun of these poor souls, but in reality, that ol' softy Jimmy Kimmel just wanted to get these posts out there, hoping the missed party would be watching. Happy Valentine's Day.

It’s Thanksgiving in Sleepy Hollow, so let’s make like families everywhere and go around the table, saying what we’re grateful for. I’ll start.
I’m thankful for Ichabod Crane’s sea-glass eyes. I’m thankful for Abbie Mills’ no-bs, head-cocked way of viewing the absolute insanity her life has become. I’m thankful for “leftenant” and baked-goods-tax rants and NorthStar’s Yolanda. I’m thankful that no evil tree monster has ever decided to make me its bitch. And above all, I’m thankful that Moloch’s got no beef with my family… at least, none that I know of.

Sarah Jessica Parker has officially made an online presence for herself! Although she's had a verified Twitter account for over two years, Sjp finally took to the social media networking site to send out her first tweet on Nov. 5. Since then, it's been one perplexing post after another (sometimes with a blurry photo or two thrown in), and there's even more bizarre behavior on her newly established Instagram feed. Despite her silly status updates, we have to give it to Sjp; unlike some other A-listers, she was brave enough to join her fellow Sex and the City sisters and take the plunge into the world of microblogging and photo sharing - now we just need to get Cynthia Nixon on board. For now, though, check out Sarah Jessica Parker's strange snaps and funny tweets below. Making Missed Connections "Tempted to pick him up and bring him home. But quickly...

Below, our Round Table team of TV Fanatics Jim Garner, Carla Day, Nick McHatton and Christine Orlando are joined by Gareth from Once Upon a Fan to decide if the Blue Fairy was justified or just mean and if even the Evil Queen deserves to be redeemed.

Jim: I like Mulan trying to talk to Aurora. I've always thought she was in love with Phillip, come to find out she's fallen for Aurora.
Gareth: Really enjoyed the scene with Mulan and Aurora. I hope we get to see more of their relationship over the rest of the season. Be interesting to see how this unfolds now that Aurora is pregnant. Things just got very complicated. The...

We're going to be focusing on select short films this month and, today, we want to introduce you to short film series called "Missed Connections."
Directed by Josh Miller and hosted by MadAtoms.com, the series focuses on the unasked questions about what horror movies monsters do when the movie cameras aren’t around, exploring the less glamorous side of the ‘slasher’ profession.
In the first short, Sad Slasher, a murderous slasher has been killing people at his creepy cabin for years - but now that a neighbor is warning people away, his supply of victims has dried up!

When you’ve witnessed a headless entity wield a machine gun and you’ve battled a sleep demon in your scorpion-venom-tinged slumber, your bar for completely-and-utterly-messed-up might be set a bit higher than the average joe’s.
That’s gotta be the reason that Sleepy Hollow‘s Abbie and Ichabod barely pause when they encounter a fountain of evil, magical lava in this week’s episode, right?
Or maybe they’ve just spent their daily allowance of “What in the what-what?” on learning the horny demon’s name/agenda and finding out that Ichabod was an original member of the Tea Party.

Her hit HBO series has fans everywhere, but one particular admirer chose to express his adoration in a bizarre way, with an explicit Craigslist Missed Connections post.
Entitled Lena Dunham'si D**k," the long post explores the writer's alleged personal history with the 27-year-old star and his growing obsession with her.
Though some speculate that the author was the "Girls" creator's ex-boyfriend from Oberlin, it's creative enough and written in such a way as to likely just be fan fiction.
In the post, the author writes about going on a date which he describes as follows: "Do you watch 'Girls?" "'I haven't seen it,' I said taking a sip of melted ice, although most people seem to love it.'" "Then I'm not most people 'cause I don't get it. I mean, the show's okay. I still watch it. But the way people go on and on about it.
