This film was delayed when independent filmmaker Michael Thomas Dunn was badly injured in November 2007. Principal Photography was about 35% completed when the film was forced into hiatus. As a result, Principal Photography took more than 2 years, not wrapping until late 2009.
Model Tracy Nova was originally cast as the tomboy character of Vanessa. However, due to scheduling difficulties she was replaced by actress Carrie Grafton.
