It’s Friday the 13th so today is the perfect day to check out Bloody Disgusting’s throwback slasher We Might Hurt Each Other (formerly Pensive), currently streaming on Screambox!
The film calls back to slasher classics like Friday the 13th.
Inspired by local legends, We Might Hurt Each Other follows a group of privileged high school classmates. After these classmates destroy a set of life-size wooden statues during a wild graduation party, a mysterious masked killer begins picking the group off one by one.
Gory and glorious, We Might Hurt Each Other is a gritty throwback to the 80s and the heyday of slasher cinema. Calling back to Friday the 13th, the filmmakers take what was great about the era and give it a refreshing lift with the infusion of Eastern European folklore.
The bloody Lithuanian teen horror was directed by Jonas Trukanas and stars Gabija Bargailaite (Pilgrims).

The following Hatchet films are now streaming on Screambox…
Hatchet II, which was directed by Adam Green, serves up a ferocious and exceptionally gory dose of splatterific entertainment with groundbreaking make-up effects, a wildly twisted sense of humor, and an even darker and bloodier ride than the first film. In the film, Marybeth (Danielle Harris) manages to escape the clutches of the bayou-butcher Victor Crowley and returns to the swamp with an army of hunters and gunmen, determined to end Crowley’s reign of horror forever.

Ministry have announced their 16th studio album, Hopiumforthemasses, due March 1st, 2024. In advance of the LP, the industrial legends have offered up the video for lead single “Goddamn White Trash” featuring Pepper Keenan of Corrosion of Conformity.
In line with frontman Al Jourgensen’s M.O. as of late, Hopiumforthemasses looks to be another politically-charged rampage. The song titles say it all: “Just Stop Oil,” “Aryan Embarrassment,” etc.
“Just like you or anybody else, I’m simply a passenger in this lifetime,” commented Jourgensen in a press release. “I’m watching social changes, political changes, and economic changes, and I comment on them because I do have a First Amendment right. A lot of people say artists and athletes should shut up and play ball. No, I’m on this trip too.”

Now streaming on Screambox is the fan-made documentary focusing on the 80’s cult classic, Clue: The Movie.
In the spirit of The Shark Is Still Working (Jaws) and Back In Time (Back to the Future), Who Done It: The Clue Documentary is lensed by filmmaker fans who want to know the entire story of the production.
The doc features interviews with writer/director Jonathan Lynn and cast members Colleen Camp (Yvette), Michael McKean (Mr. Green), Lesley Ann Warren (Miss Scarlet), and Lee Ving (Mr. Boddy), among others.
“Clue is one of the most enjoyable, quotable and rewatchable films of the past 35 years,” director Jeff C. Smith originally stated when the project was announced. “When I couldn’t find the answers to questions I have always wondered (like who came up with Madeline Kahn’s amazing ‘Flames on the side of my face’ speech), I decided to go find out for myself.

New Religion, the new film by Keishi Kondo, is an audacious venture trying to merge the genres of horror, fantasy, and science fiction together. With eerie silence haunting the characters and nightmarish cinematography that would make David Lynch proud, the film emerges as a cryptic treatise on the degradation of society and the immense suffering that plagues the human condition.
The plot of the film revolves around Miyabi, who loses her daughter in a bizarre accident and subsequently gets divorced from her husband. Working as a call girl, she now lives with her boyfriend, who seems supportive and accepting of her past. Strange events arise when one of her fellow workers, Akari, gets in touch with a client who is obsessed with photography and is possibly rearing humans that are in a state of war against all social institutions. Let’s explore the characters of this uncanny film:
