Justin Timpane, writer of Ninjas VS. Zombies and Ninjas VS. Vampires, did some script doctoring at the request of writer/director Gary Ugarek.
This is writer/director Gary Ugarek's smallest budgeted film yet.
Shot in 12 Days. The film only took a total of 7 months to make and release. The bulk of that time was in post production.
All day one footage was scrapped and re-shot on day 12. Director Gary Ugarek felt the actors had not really connected yet, so once filming was complete a 12 day was added to re-shoot day 1, which had a much better flow. The original day 1 footage can be found on the Blu-ray release of the film.
Originally designed to be shown in color. However during post production Director Gary Ugarek filtered the film into black & white. A color version does exist, but the director refuses to release it as he feels the B&W version is his final cut. The colorized version does run 8 minutes longer.
