Steve White early American Zoetrope (Francis Ford Coppola and George Lucas 1969) employee recalls there were impromptu weekend screenings held for the staff of all manner of independent films and Dead End was a frequent part of those programs.
American Zoetrope kept a house print of Dead End in their projection room at that time.
