This is not good, in fact it's one of the worst films I have ever watched. I watched it all the way through & it just doesn't get any better (I'm one of those people who think things will get better & stick with the book or film!).
I'd rather have been doing housework than watching this, it's that bad!

Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for some crap tonight... normally, I force myself to sit through anything... but the fact that this 'film' showed 7.6 stars out of 10 forced me to set the record straight... call it a 'public service' if you will. The opening scene of burning buildings looks like circa 1990 CGI... which, I can get past because a lot of CGI on SciFi Channel is like this... but, then the 'zombies' came... I mean, it's not that hard to be a convincing zombie... not much emoting, right ?... but when I saw an extra 'galloping' on all fours, that kind of did it for me... unfortunately, I couldn't get to the 'stop' button fast enough to miss the two gun-toting 'leads' as they watch an absolutely awful excuse for a newscast. Unless you are a complete zombie completist (I used to be), you are better off sticking glass shards in your eyes. The only reason I didn't give this 1 star is because I believe every attempt has merit... the people that made this have feelings... but running up the rating to 7.6 stars is wrong...it's one thing to deceive yourself... but this is a terrible terrible terrible excuse for a film.

I guess if I could have heard most of what was said, I could have been more objective, but being as the sound quality was sooooooooooo horrible, there was only so high I could turn up the volume.
Coupled with some of the most awful acting I have ever seen, this movie just has no redeeming qualities.
The two women in the bar should have just been left out of the movie, they were so bad.
Some acting lessons would do all of these people a lot of good.
It really kills me to see a movie with an obvious budget, and yet it's executed as abhorrently poorly as this was.
Avoid at all costs...Seriously.
There's a reason it's free on Amazon Prime.

Nightclub survivors hide from zombies in this meandering indie

PLANET DEAD is another interminable indie zombie movie in which a bunch of characters who have survived the initial zombie apocalypse end up holing up inside a nightclub to protect themselves from the hordes of living dead outside. Yes, it's another film indebted to DAWN OF THE DEAD, with similar locations and even similar costumes worn by the special forces characters. Sadly, the emphasis is on cheesy emoting over decent action, and it all adds up to very little.
