. . . a lot of people singing. Variety shows such as He Ha and Ed Sullivan often suffer from an uneven quality of content. While you may get The Beatles or Elvis on some episodes, you're more likely to be stuck with dudes twirling plates atop poles and people trying to play musical spoons or saw blades. This pretty much sums up the overall make-up of SUPER BOWL 58. Though a panel of so-called "talking heads," alleged to be grid iron experts, seemed ubiquitous, most of them were not even sharp enough to correctly predict the game's outcome. The athletic contest itself packed about five minutes of action into it four-hour-plus running time. Audience consensus found the TV ads to be a general disappointment, with the renown Clydesdale horses being on-screen for less than half a minute. It's likely even the players involved will fall asleep if forced to watch video replays of this fiasco.

Super Bowl

Warning: Spoilers
This was a pretty good game even if we have seen the script before. The Chiefs fall behind in the first half and then make the necessary adjustments to come back and win it all.

I won't touch on the guests in the audience. We've covered that too many times.

The commercials were really horrible here. They've been bad for awhile, but this year seemed to be even worse. The celebrity infusion did not seem natural at all.

This is always a spectacle and one of the few things that can keep America glued to their screen for four hours. Not a classic game, but still a really good one and another notch in the Chiefs' belt.

Be like Jesus

This Super Bowl admittedly didn't have the best commercials. Yes, that is statistically what most people watch the Super Bowl for. My favorite was probably the one showing the people washing the feet. I thought that was a commercial for some kind of shampoo, but instead it was about how Jesus loves us all. It's weird how that message can be anywhere. Here we have the San Francisco 49ers against the Kansas City Chiefs.

I used to live in Kansas, so naturally I was rooting for the KCC. They couldn't get in any points at first! They actually manage to get it down to a tie and went into overtime! They said this is the first time this has happened in 28 years! I assumed the winner would be the first one to score any points. Instead, the KCC got a touchdown and won!

I was so not seeing that happening! I don't even care about sports much, but this was amazing! This was a unique Super Bowl! I loved the cat commercials too. We got a cat saying "Mayo" and a cat dressed as a potato! I can understand better how sports games are important to many people. ****

Oh, brother!

Warning: Spoilers
In the nearly sixty-five years I've been alive, I've only watched four Super Bowls in the entire history of that game. And, I've regretted it...each and every time.

First, there was Super Bowl 20, wherein the Patriots lost to the Chicago Bears, 45-10. Then came Super Bowl 53 (the Single-Digit Snoozefest), followed by Super Bowl 56 (only slightly less of a cure for insomnia). And, now, both last and least? This year's over-hyped get-together between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers.

Nineteen points a piece by the end of regulation time. And most of those by field goals? Don't even get me started on the lackluster half-time show with Usher.

I don't know about the rest of you folks. But, I'm starting to think this game is getting even more meaningless than the collegiate Rose Bowl (which has now been demoted to a mere semi-final game).
