I remember watching this show in high-school. Being this show was made in 1982 the technology available was minimal. The premise of the show was to put ordinary citizens in the shoes of the police in high stress situations. The "contestants" were first asked their opinion about the use of deadly force by the police and if they support their actions. Of course some people were totally against the police from using a gun. The citizens were then showed different scenarios with toy guns in front of a TV screen as they were given the choice to pull the trigger. The results were surprising and sometimes funny.
