Kayo's shoes are a different color when they are under the bed than when he is playing.
When Kayo falls short of the second run, his dives and his bat skids just an inch from the crease. The shot changes and his bat is next to him, very far from the crease and his hand isn't outstretched either. When again the shot changes his hand is outstretched with the bat ahead of him, but the bat isn't as close to the crease as in the initial shot.
When Kayo turns around to make the second run in the finals, he falls short because of his torn shoe, he (and his team) is crestfallen because they have "lost". But since they were short of two runs, it actually is a tie since they had completed the first run.
