Intrigue, tension, crime and suspense in paradise!
Guanche4829 December 2023
The series is very well done and told, full of unexpected and exciting moments. It is not a soap opera in any way, it is a series full of suspense and very intriging, with good dialogues and some humor. The chemistry between all the characters is the most authentic, and Spanish traditions are also very well reflected. The photography is also exceptional on the Spanish coasts.

It also has very interesting images of the Cold War, so it is also informative in this sense, the 8 episodes went by very quickly!.

All the actors are very good, and I especially highlight my favorites, Roberto Lezana and Pedro Casablanc, very real and authentic as always, as if it cost them nothing to act, totally fascinating. Mr. Casablanc is a very international actor, of Moroccan origin and speaks English and French very well.

I think that this story is a master manipulation. Sara Farad only cares about money and is the initiator of this process, molding Oskar little by little to her taste and that of her family, and of course Oskar loves the attention and a new life full of luxury. The worst thing is the quick change that Oskar makes, from his physical appearance to his betrayal and mafioso personality. Is he enriching himself? Or does he want to enrich the family?

It is Sara's plan all along to put Oskar in her favor, although the love she feels for him can also be genuine.

When you have everything but you want more is the ambition who leads to destruction, although of course they will never learn that lesson, not even after the most tragic death.

One of the most exciting parts is the adventure of Hugo Farad and Mario, Oskar's uncle. I loved it, live life! It may be over sooner than you think, they are the bravest in my opinion.

It will keep you on the edge all the time, very exciting! Don't miss it!

Absolutely amazing

Best series in a long, long time. Everything is 10 points in my opinion. Script, directing, acting. The storyline evolves beautifully, keeps surprises and drama all the way throughout the show. If you like international context combined with good drama this is an absolute must. It is just a plus that the series were shot in beautiful Costa del Sol, so we can enjoy the beauty of the scenery. Nothing is overdone or corny, just realistic storytelling. I wish there were more of these intelligent pieces on Netflix or elsewhere.. The ending is such that it lends itself to a potential continuation, additional seasons.

Another Spanish Soap Opera
qui_j24 December 2023
The basis for this Telenovela is the well worn theme of poor boy gaining access to a wealthy family whose illegal activities has made them wealthy. It is set in the Costa Del Sol, Marbella, but instead of dealing in drugs, this family deals in arms. It starts off fairly good, but by the third episode, the narrative starts to unravel, the plot meanders to include every insurrection and rebellion in the 1970s and 80s, somehow finding a way to involve this family and its nefarious dealings. There are the usual hallmarks of a Spanish production, wigs that appear to be made of polyester and shared between the female stars, soft porn shots, bad audio and huge gaps in the plot as they seem to run out of time and then try to cram everything into the last episode. The time jumps are really silly as there is little in the way of continuity between them. Sometimes, the dots just do not connect. The real star of the show is the opulent lifestyle and beautiful scenery of the region!

Wow. What a show! Los Farad is a stunning Spanish drama that takes viewers on a captivating journey into the lives of a wealthy Marbella family. From the moment the opening credits roll, you're transported to the sun-drenched shores of Andalusia, where stunning mansions, luxurious yachts, and high-stakes drama abound.

The show's cinematography is simply breathtaking. The stunning landscapes of Marbella are beautifully captured, and the camerawork is always dynamic and engaging. The attention to detail is remarkable, from the opulent interiors of the Farad family's homes to the bustling streets of the city.

The acting in Los Farad is equally impressive. The cast delivers nuanced performances that bring the characters to life. You'll find yourself rooting for some, despising others, and questioning the motives of everyone in between. The chemistry between the actors is palpable, and their interactions are always entertaining and suspenseful.

The story itself is gripping and full of twists and turns. You'll be on the edge of your seat as you follow the Farad family's trials and tribulations, and you'll be constantly guessing what will happen next. The themes of love, betrayal, power, and corruption are explored in a thought-provoking way, and the show leaves you with plenty to ponder.
