This is a good film, and it probes quite deeply into how a normal gay young man loses his dreams after being forced out of his family home. It takes place in a Los Angeles full of sexual predators, would be helpers and lashings of drugs. Bit on the debit side I found it unwatchable because of a camera that seemed to be on drugs as well, and in my opinion I was tired of watching a screen with constant jerky movements. I know it is depicting hell on earth with drugged rapes and beaten up faces but the visual hallucinations made it too extreme cutting from one underdeveloped character after another, and it is well meaning but preachy. Good for schools and educational purposes, but not what I call a fulfilling cinematic experience.
