- Open with Nina flashing back to her childhood and using her powers to prevent her father from leaving home.
A man named Lewis walks down the street in his pajamas with he thinks is a baby. He ends up getting tased by police officers and we see that it was actually a bag of cash.
Harken and Rachel come into the office to find Gary on his way from the shower. He tells them about Rosen letting him stay in the office until he finds an apartment. Bennett pops his head in and says he needs to talk to Rosen.
Kat tells Rosen she wants to try out for the team. Her power is an ability to learn complex concepts in a matter of hours, though the tradeoff is she has no long-term memory. But he is just interested in finding a way to counteract her memory loss. Bennett tells Rosen "I've got another one for you." Rosen gives Kat a video camera.
Bennett tells Rosen about Lewis, who tried to steal $500,000 from the bank where he works, thinking he was saving a baby. The thinking is that Nina responsible for Lewis, along with two similar theft-type incidents. Rosen thinks they need to bring her in for her own safety. Hicks isn't sure if he should be involved in bringing her in, but Rosen convinces him to do "whatever it takes."
Rachel thinks Bennett was lying about not wanting to date her because they work together. He tells he that two years ago he suffered a war wound. He shows it to her and she covers her nose. Bennett leaves the room.
Rachel and Hicks go to a club they know Nina likes. Rachel finds her in a VIP area and asks her to see Rosen. Nina isn't interested. Nina uses her power to get Rachel to make out with her. Hick shows up and meets Nina's new boyfriend Tommy. Nina uses her power to convince Hicks to carry Rachel out of the club.
Rosen uses medication to pull Hicks out from Nina's spell. Nina's powers have grown since she left the team. They talk about Tommy being somebody from Nina's childhood. Rosen thinks Nina's use and dependence on her ability is similar to that of a drug addict.
In another Nina childhood flashback we see her meeting Tommy. They bond because both of their parents are always fighting. In present day we see Nina tell Tommy she's worried she screwed up.
Hicks and Harken pay Tommy's ex Becky a visit. He's left her and their child and she's happy to be rid of him.
During a flashback we see Nina telling Tommy about her ability to control people. Back then it only lasted a few minutes. In present day Tommy tells Nina he thinks they should leave the country and get married.
Rosen watches old video of session with Nina. Kat comes in with her video camera rolling. She's heard about Nina from Gary. Clay pays Rosen a visit to ask about the about the Building 7 escapees. Rosen doesn't tell him what is going on with Nina.
Hicks and Gary give Rosen a lead on Nina's whereabouts. Because of Clay's pressure Rosen tells them they'll have to put Nina on hold.
Becky stops and tells the team on second thought she's not happy Tommy is gone. Rachel thinks Nina pushed her before the first interview. The team again tells Rosen they want to go after Nina and he says they can't. Rachel realizes Rosen was pushed by Nina.
During another childhood flashback Nina comes home to find her father sitting at home instead of at work. Since Nina pushed him into not leaving home he believed he had to stay in the building. She fixes her mistake.
Before Nina can leave town the guys arrest Tommy. He tells them he loves Nina and doesn't think she's actually in trouble. Rosen brings Becky and Tommy's son in to see him.
Rosen and Rachel leave Tommy's room and run into a gun-wielding Hicks and Nina. Nina gets rid of Rachel and goes into Tommy's room. Tommy looks angry and Rosen says that Nina's been pushing him the entire time. There never was a relationship. Nina realizes that it's true, even recalling childhood when Tommy wanted to tell somebody what she was doing to her father.
Outside Nina pushes Hicks into helping her escape, getting him to shoot Bennett in the shoulder.
On the roof Hicks and Harken get into a standoff. Rosen arrives and tries to talk Nina down. She climbs to the edge of the roof and talks about what happened with her, Tommy and her father. We see that her father killed himself. She says she's tired of hurting people and jumps off the roof. Fortunately Hicks springs into action and does the Hicks thing, shooting free a cable so he can dive off the edge and grab her. Harken pulls the two of them to safety.
Harken talks to Kat about the importance of memories. She starts listening to some of Rosen's old records.
Bennett asks Rachel out. He says he's sensitive, telling her he hasn't been with anyone since his injury.
Clay allows Nina to be released into Rosen's custody. Hicks is sitting outside Nina's room. Nina tells Rosen "I'm dangerous." But Rosen pulls back her blindfolds and sits down next her.
