A few insightful conversations made this episode quite heartwarming on the whole. The thing with the alien baby doesn't add much to the story at this point. Pretty good cliffhanger though.

some laughs

I thought this episode was quite funny. Lots of scenes with the kids being smart, I didn't really like the euthanasia scene at all. Did they have a point there? It just came across as creepy and poorly handled. It's certainly and edgy topic to broach but they didn't really do anything with it and they haven't really established themselves as a show that has insight into anything. They're trying to but there were some massive fails earlier on in part one of this season which lost them the rights to hold the talking stick. They're going to need to earn it back and they haven't, yet.

Stick to the jokes, let Harry do his thing and please please please try and get a story arch going,

The Weight.

Warning: Spoilers
Yeah not great... Going off on so many uninteresting tangents with every single character, including low grade material. It's almost entirely absent of humour.

By this point my wife turned to me and ask why are you watching this. It has nothing new to say.

You do sense that that second series is still searching for a proper plot.

Harry when not contemplating about death decides to look for the other alien. Little Max is the key as he can see aliens but Max has a price. A drum kit.

Harry not realising that Max knows that the alien has taken the form of a boy.

General Eleanor Wright at last contemplates that the doctor she abducted from Patience might be a human and a real doctor. This means the real alien could still be in the town.

Resident Alien is just about passable at the moment. It has a few laughs but nothing more than that. I think Alan Tudyk is rather bored.
