The Geordie duo have now taken home the gong for a staggering fifteen consecutive years, but Dec said the honour doesn't get any less as the time progresses. Who would win in a battle of agility between David Walliams and a Belgian Shepherd?
Well, Walliams decided to find out by going up against the dog on the Britain's Got More Talent stage.
The comedian will face competition from different dogs as the series goes on, taking on various challenges.
He got into the spirit of the occasion by donning his own dog costume, but it wasn't enough to help him beat Jibe.
It took Walliams 46 seconds to complete the course, while Jibe got round in just 10 seconds.
Walliams recently suggested that entertainment value is more important than talent when it comes to sifting through acts on the ITV series.
Meanwhile, Cowell claimed that Walliams's ego is "out of control" after his Best TV Judge win at the 2015 National Television Awards.

Britain's Got Talent's David Walliams has claimed that entertainment value is more important than talent.
The comedian said that eccentric acts are still his "absolute favourite" and are the reason he continues to do the show.
He said: "We had a brilliant guy who came on and played tunes on a comb, he blew into this comb.
"It was absolutely excruciating to listen to him murdering all these famous songs, but also it was incredibly entertaining.
"I think that's what is interesting, sometimes people are not necessarily that talented but they can still be hugely entertaining. Ultimately, entertainment value is what we are really looking for. I think sometimes people get confused.
"If someone comes on and they sing a song, but there's nothing original about them or the way they do it, then they have some talent but they have left everyone cold. But this guy, blowing into a comb,...

Simon Cowell has claimed that David Walliams is "out of control".
The Britain's Got Talent boss said his fellow judge's ego is "getting bigger", especially after he was named Best TV Judge at January's National Television Awards.
On whether he considered changing the judging line-up this year, Cowell said: "No, I think - and I hate to admit it - this panel is about as good as we've done on any show.
"I like being on the show but more importantly the other three really like being on the show. They genuinely want to find someone talented, particularly the girls.
"We get on really well. David can be a pain - I feel a little bit like Frankenstein and the monster. His ego is getting bigger and he's literally out of control."

So Dermot O'Leary is leaving The X Factor after eight years fronting the ITV singing competition.
In a statement, the host thanked Simon Cowell and the show's family - but talk has inevitably already turned to who will fill Dermot's dancing shoes.
Who do you think should present The X Factor now? Should it jump into the safe pair of hands that is Ant & Dec who already front sister show Britain's Got Talent? Or is Olly Murs the way forward as an ex-contestant who knows the process inside-out and has experience on The Xtra Factor?
Digital Spy rounds up some of the possibilities:

To end a week celebrating New Who's 10th birthday, here's a bumper list of Doctor Who titbits from Russell T Davies' The Writer's Tale...
We’ve touched on why The Writer’s Tale, the 2008 (expanded in 2010) compendium of correspondence between Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies and journalist Benjamin Cook, deserves a space on your bookshelf here.
In short, The Writer’s Tale is both a screenwriting masterclass and an unparalleled look behind the scenes of new Doctor Who. As well as following the production triumphs and emergencies as the show lurches “from one crisis to another”, it lets you witness story ideas being created in the wild. See pivotal Doctor Who moments tottering unsurely out of Davies’ mind like new-born giraffes and watch them transform into sleek, galloping beasts of majesty! Think of it like a classy David Attenborough doc on storytelling, with bonus David Tennant photos and chat about Tony from Skins.

From the Queen Vic to the Tardis. As Eastenders prepares to mark its 30th anniversary, we look back at its encounters with Doctor Who...
Back in the mid-eighties an actor who played "Third Assistant" in a Doctor Who story called The Savages (1966) and the director of another Doctor Who adventure, The Underwater Menace (1967), came together to create one of the BBC’s most successful television shows.
And when they got together, it was murder. Well, not quite. (Though the first episode did feature a victim who would later die, fact fans.) But what they did create was Eastenders.
Broadcast on February the 19th 1985 (in between episodes one and two of The Two Doctors), this creation of Who alumni would go on to share numerous links with the long-running science-fiction for years to come. Even its time-slot owes much to the adventures of everyone’s favourite Gallifreyan.

The victory was decided by viewers, though Carr insisted that he had not campaigned for votes online.

Carr had previously apologised for his NTAs acceptance speech, branding it "f**king s**t".

Ant & Dec have decided to get in early with their golden buzzer on Britain's Got Talent this year.
The pair pressed the buzzer earlier this week, on the first day of live auditions for the show in Edinburgh.
"The talent's good, the talent's really good, and we've pushed our golden buzzer already," Ant explained to reporters including Digital Spy backstage at the National Television Awards.
"We got in there early - a really good act, actually. I think it's fabulous."
Dec added: "Last year we waited until the last session of the last day to push our golden buzzer. We weren't getting caught out with that again!
"We pushed it on the first session of the first day. They're a great act. But a really good level in Edinburgh. [It's] Manchester next, so we're very excited."
Dec also has high hopes for 2015's search, saying: "It's good to have a really steady judging panel as well.

The BBC One soap preceded its upcoming anniversary week by beating Hollyoaks, Coronation Street and Emmerdale to Best Serial Drama.
Dyer collected the Serial Drama Performance prize in a category that pitted him against EastEnders co-star Kellie Bright, among others.
"I'll have [the award] Monday and Wednesday, you'll have it Tuesday and Thursday. I'll have it weekends," he joked to Bright in his acceptance speech.
He continued: "I want to thank my kids… Without them, I'd be a tenth of the man I am today. And that ain't much, I'll tell you!"
Bright previously denied any rivalry between herself and Dyer over the award, explaining that she was simply pleased that both were nominated.

This evening's event at London's O2 will honour Kirkbride following the sad news that she has passed away at the age of 60.

When the event's producers entered talks with ITV and Coronation Street yesterday, it was decided that Roache - better known on screen as Deirdre's husband Ken - should take to the stage and make a speech about the much-loved star.
Coronation Street's producer Stuart Blackburn told Granada Reports: "Bill's going to be saying a few words paying tribute to Annie. We know that's going to be difficult for him because they were very dear friends. It's just our chance to support him and...

Who doesn't love an awards show? The fantastic dresses, the backslapping, the emotion, the gutted faces, the fancy meals and goodie bags... and yes, we might watch it all from our sofas, but that just means we don't have to walk around in painful shoes all night. The BAFTAs are one of the best awards nights, too - with television's finest throwing on their gladrags for a proper shindig.
Keeping them all in line - just about - is host Graham Norton. But what is the ceremony really like? Let's take a peek behind the scenes with Graham, as we learn all about the party bus, this year's special winners, why the afterparty ain't all that, and how he deals with his nerves (er: booze).
1. There's something special about the BAFTAs.

Jenna Coleman was seen emerging from the Tardis before an emotional embrace with Peter Capaldi during Doctor Who filming in Cardiff this afternoon (January 28).
Coleman's Clara Oswald, who was wearing a navy blue cardigan and short tartan skirt, was pictured stepping out of the Doctor's trusty blue box before hugging the Time Lord.
Hinting at the dynamic between the duo, Capaldi's Doctor can be seen responding to Clara's hug by awkwardly flailing his arms and then clenching his fists.

Capaldi, who replaced Matt Smith as the BBC drama's lead star at Christmas, was later photographed taking a break and warming up in a long duffel coat before having his hair and make-up retouched.

The first picture of Peter Capaldi in his Doctor Who outfit has been released and the star has described the new look as "100 per cent Rebel Time Lord".
The next incarnation of the Doctor sports a dark blue Crombie coat with red lining, dark blue trousers, a white shirt and black Dr Martens boots in his first official picture.
Doctor Who costume designer Howard Burden created the new look.
"He's woven the future from the cloth of the past. Simple, stark, and back to basics. No frills, no scarf, no messing, just 100 per cent Rebel Time Lord," said Capaldi.

Ant & Dec have credited their success to their early work on Byker Grove.
At last night's National Television Awards, the pair were named Best Entertainment Presenter(s) for the 13th year running and also received the special Landmark award.

Dec agreed: "They really set us up for the rest of our career - they were the foundations that we've built our career on."
Dec added he is "still thrilled... to go to work every day with [his] best mate" after almost 25 years together as a partnership.
