Three teenagers get hooked hooked on commonly used drugs in this movie from Sid Davis.
It's a cheaply made affair, with the narrator in prologue and epilogue, then voice over while the three youngsters act out their story without any sound -- although the third one gets a brief conversation with a fellow who tells him off. It's a typical affair for Davis, who spent a quarter of a century making these movies, usually under the sponsorship of some police department or other. Most of them are dull affairs, hectoring and like this one, with a my-way-or-the-highway moral. One or two achieve inadvertent documentary realism. This is not one of the latter category.
