What's not to like?

Warning: Spoilers
I am a huge Wes Anderson fan and Jason Schwartzman is one of my favorite actors. This is just a pure delight to watch. I actually look forward more to short films from my favorite directors because they can actually have way more charm in it than feature length films. Moonrise Kingdom is another great film from Anderson and I always look forward to his next project. This is just a short spin off from Moonrise Kingdom focused solely on Jason's character Cousin Ben, who was one of the best parts of the film. It's a movie screening to the boy scout troop he's head of in he film and he's one of the funniest scout troop leaders I've ever seen. It's short and funny and that's what I like to direct.

Doesn't add a lot

Warning: Spoilers
"Cousin Ben Troop Screening with Jason Schwartzman" is a 2-minute Funnyordie movie that is directly linked to Wes Anderson's "Moonrise Kingdom". Anderson wrote and directed this short film as well and his regular Jason Schwartzman appears in here too. He organizes a movie night at the youth camp where "Moonrise Kingdom" is shown. we see how kids bay with bus tokens to watch the film and what happens when some of them come too late and the film has already begun. Don't they have to pay by the way? Anyway, i liked "Moonrise Kingdom", but this little snippet here does not really add anything at all. Could have done without it I guess. Still, because of the connection and famous filmmaker, it has turned into one of Funnyordie's most famous. Still, not among their best. Not recommended.

A promo for Moonrise Kingdom starring Jason Schwartzman. Wes Anderson should make more promos like this for his upcoming films. An enjoyable little moment with enjoyable storytelling.
