Another Good Episode [8/10]

My Reaction / Review for Chucky Season 2 Episode 3: Episode 2 was good and I gave it a rating of 7.5/10. Lexy soon will have no pills, it will be interesting to watch her behavior change and the withdrawal symptoms. Brainwashing Chucky? Doesnt sound like a good idea to me. Oh oh, the pastor saw them kissing, that's not good. Lexy is searching for drugs, soon she will be desperate. So they were able to brainwash Chucky? While this doesn't make sense to me, brainwashed Chucky is realy cute. Wait, Chucky killed the pastor? Is that the brainwashed Chucky or another one? Im confused, it's another Chucky. Wow Chucky destroyed that guy, how strong he is? A gory kill. Did they hide the body? Why? Its not like they did it. Overall a good episode, my rating is 8/10.

Finally, a gory kill!

The plot of the 3rd episode was very interesting and I really liked it. The storyline was very well written and way better than the previous episode. The characters are very interesting and well-developed (especially, Lexy). Also, that episode included the first super gory kill of season 2 (it was AWESOME). Sadly, the previous episodes didn't had nice kills, because most of them were done off-screen and they weren't bloody at all. Overall, season 2 is very interesting and I really like that season, even though season 1 was kinda better.. The ending scene was kinda unexpected and I'm so hyped about episode 4.

This is by far the most iconic episode of the series Finally they don't give so much time to the teenage drama FINALLY .

In general season 2 is kinda more interesting from season 1 but at the begging I was skeptical because I didn't really liked the idea of the church school but believe me its working so much better anyway chucky in this episode turns to be a good guy and its all I wanted to see from the begging of the movies lol chucky is sooooo cute sooo so cute (please don't kill this little guy ) I love chucky I really do is one of my favorites characters and and having his own series is awesome for me.

How many times can Chucky jump the shark?

Honest Review... This last episode just seems like a caricature of itself. As if they have no idea what to do with this character so they just keep tainting it. I understand some people may like the direction, and sometimes it's interesting, but most times lately it's just beyond ridiculous. Buff Chucky was too much imo.. what the hell are we doing to Chucky?

I'm sincerely trying to stay open but they just keep going further down a rabbit hole and it's kind of nonsense... I don't know. I get it, the show is about a killer doll(s) but what in the world. Chucky punching through someone's chest?? It's just too much and becoming laughable, which is unfortunate because I've had so much love for the character since the early 90's.

This just isn't it...

Warning: Spoilers
I was bored, so I've decided to check the new Chucky season. So many things are still not working in this show, it's crazy. The lead is beyond annoying. His romance with Devon, adds nothing to the script. And you wonder if he simply didn't overstayed his welcome. The premiere was tedious. Frankly I switched off most of the time, and thought the pace was too slow and full of useless teenyboppers stuffs. Then the second episode had an interesting introduction to the Catholic school universe, in which the rest of the season will take place. As well as hilarious bits with Jennifer Tilly, and an intriguing cliffhanger ending. Only now, in this episode, it's back to the insufferable stereotypical young characters, and their silly little drama. With Devon Sawa playing another character in the series, as way of what? Lack of new actors to hire? Nothing against him, but it's distracting, considering he already played twin brothers in season one. But I hope his return has a meaning in the story, otherwise it's very cheap. I'm getting sick of yet another mean girl with a pulse thing, too. It has been done to death, and was rarely convincing. And as far as the Lexi character is concerned, it makes her even more annoying and vain. I wasn't pleased with « good Chucky » not being behind the murders either. This Rambo Chucky thing is ridiculous and very anticlimactic. I highly doubt that, but I wish they plan on killing off at least, one main character this season. That'll get the stakes higher for once, in this very underwhelming TV adaptation.
