What is horniness, if not love persevering?

Warning: Spoilers
I will watch anything this group produces. Witty, quick, paced with amazing characters we love dropping in dimes of jokes right when we need them. DC has a hell of a time ahead of them with the MCU comparisons, but Marvel could never do Harley Quinn on HBO. I love modern references like Brett Goldstein from Ted Lasso and Darkseid's long lovely romance with Melania Trump (Darkseid is....in love!).

Animation has an opportunity to do literally ANYTHING. What this group chose was to give us the animating style of the Batman cartoon shows of lore mixed with a reality and modernity of what these characters would do with a complicated day like Valentines. Very very very delicious and good for a laugh.

Love and insanity are in the air in Gotham

I have loved this show from the moment it premiered, I love how zany and unapologetic it can be.

Some others have come and tried replicating the formula of taking iconic characters and make them into an adult-themed cartoon, but have failed miserably. This series based on the DC Comics is so raunchy, funny, violent, there is literally nothing else that can be compared to it right now.

This Valentine's Day Special was great, too. The meta humor and relationship drama, and the chaos that ensues when something good goes wrong is unexpected but incredibly hilarious.

Kaley Cuoco is amazing as ever as Harley Quin, and Lake Belle's Poison Ivy is always on point.

This is a special that you have to see to believe, and I highly recommend you to do so.

Golden Masterpiece

This show is truly a work of art. This episode was a 10/10.

All of the voice actors should win awards.

Also, the writers showing Harley and Ivy's relationship issues and them actually working through them and growing is very beautiful. It is something everyone should see and realize this is how problems should be solved. It is okay to mess up, but learning from those actions and being better for yourself and the people around you is something this show demonstrates really well. I never would have thought I could look up to an animated fictional couple, but here we are.

I very much look forward to the next season. I cannot wait to see more hilarious, sexy, gory, and romantic content all in one.

Lois Knows
tinkkytone26 February 2023
Why are we keeping this myth going? Huh? Lois Lane knows Superman is Clark. Clark Kent is Superman. Why...why? The beginning of this episode is great, but then we descend to the depths. And why is there no CK in this show? C'mon Clark is not Ka'El's imagination. Clark Kent is an integral part of the mythology. Without Clark Kent then there is no Superman. Also, Lois Lane represents more than the damsel in distress. Lois is fundamental to the Superman myth. Lois represents what normal humans love about Superman. The character has existed for so long because of love. Don't take that away from him.

disgusting junk

This is a disgusting junk. I don't understand how we went from heroes fighting for noble causes to horny home wreckers. This is not funny, not interesting, not exciting. This is just disgusting and pathetic. The whole thing looks like it was written by a horny idiot teenager. The fact that a screenwriter dares to call himself a writer is an insult to real writers. If this had been some z-rated movie on a down-market local cable channel, it would still be embarrassing. But these are DC characters, on HBO. I beg of you, what were you thinking? They should have fired the whole staff when they handed over this garbage.

Ridiculous, zany, hilarious and entertaining
davidcjahn11 February 2023
Ridiculous, zany, hilarious and entertaining. This show has grown on me more and more over the years. This episode in particular reminded me of things you saw in Doom Patrol Season 1 (another show I love). The Clayface and Bane arcs were hilariously out of control! My only critique had to do with the Darkseid being Trump(?) scene; I'm pretty sure that was Melonia sitting next to him, especially with the Republican convention reference. I just don't like it when they make entertainment political, either right or left. Just my personal preference but I know others may disagree. To each his/her own.
