Ruined travel story with outlandish claims of "danger."
jhtelford12 February 2020
Neat experience in beautiful locations. For some reason, though, the expedition members feel compelled to create a sense of danger and drama, even when none exists. Bad weather at sea and travel in remote areas can be dangerous, but packing your gear in the dark, with a flashlight, dangerous? No. Each member of the expedition is shown every one or two minutes describing the exact same thing, in almost the exact same wording. Somehow trying to make pulling over and buying some fuel an incredible, death defying accomplishment. They pound you with that hyperbole again an again for an hour. Gets old fast.

Warning: Spoilers
I thought dangerous waters was spectacular. I feel like myself went all around the world, wish I could ride a Kawasaki JetSki probably half around the world. Steven was miraculous you can tell he had a strong faith and he lived by integrity , Love, and prayer. All are very important and he showed this throughout all the seasons. I would love to see season seven I binged watch all seasons in about two weeks. Steve is the one that made the show never giving up and wanted to share the world with everyone he changed a lot of peoples lives All over the world I have a great respect for him and one day I will get to where I need a Kawasaki JetSki I hope.

Everywhere he went the world so beautiful and he greeted everyone with love happiness and enjoyment I really really loved it if there were more than 10 stars I would've given it 20 stars. Steve thanks for sharing such a beautiful world with us.

Annoying and inaccurate

Embellished accounts of danger in every show. But what is most annoying, even more so than expedition "leader" Steven Moll, is the historical inaccuracies.

A major inaccuracy that really got me was during the episode Avoid Albania. The members of this poorly organized expedition visit the Old City of Dubrovnik. I'm pretty sure each member stated the city is thousands of years old which is repeated by the narrator. This may not be a big deal, I just can't stand when "facts" are tossed around when so obviously wrong.

Watch this show to see some beautiful locations but stop there. If looking for any real information or guidelines, find other sources.

As with going to any foreign country, research customs, laws and currency BEFORE you enter. In this day and age there is no excuses.

These are the types of people that give Americans a bad rap in other countries.

Too much bs

Tales about polar bears and repeats, details all the time. The travel north Canada could be summarized on one episode, at least 15 hours spent on that makes me not want to waste so many hours when almost nothing happens.

This should have been cut shorter. Do the team get paid by episode?

Maybe there should be a short alternative for viewers that do not need to know more about polar bears and see reruns all the time.

Maybe there are people that do not even notice that they are seeing exactly the same thing again.

Anyway the tour is fantastic, but it should really be shorter.

There should be more map views and navigational choices.
