- A creature talks about Bonobos, in that they would engage in sexual acts to resolve conflict, even with immature or same sex mates. It also states that some of the rulers considered using this for peaceful resolution before it was scratched.
- A teen boy kisses a teen girl on the neck, then lowers her down on the ground before he starts reaching up her shirt. She then seems to become aroused as well and puts him on the ground and seems to prepare to take off his pants before she stops. Though nothing ends up happening, the implication is a little disturbing.
- Same-sex relationships are a prominent theme in the second story arc.
- A teen boy kisses another teen boy, both with and without noticeable tongue.
- A teen girl touches another teen girl's clothed breasts, she then starts making out with her and buries her face in the other girl's breasts while fondling them.
- The two girls a very briefly seen in bed together. They are clearly naked but no nudity is shown.

- The second story arc is extremely intense wherein the main characters are worried they're being targeted for termination.
- This series is very dark in tone and heavy in suspense. Many scenes are very intense and violent. Very possibly disturbing for an individual not accustomed to a darker series.

- One character ends up losing control of his emotions and being turned into a "Karmic Demon" that plans to ravage the world. In order to prevent this, he kills himself after forcing a teen girl a safe distance away. This scene is very emotional and intense.
