The amusement park that the group spends most of the story in was an actual theme park. It was the "Hard Rock Park" in its opening year of 2008 and then, under new ownership and without the license to use the "Hard Rock Cafe" logo (and some licenses for the ride branding), changed its name to the "Freestyle Music Park for 2009's season. After that, it was closed and now is considered to be a "defunct park", just rotting outside of Myrtle Beach, SC. When it was fully open, it featured 50 rides and five modern roller coasters.
