NBC Universal and the creators/stars of the Syfy reality show Dream Machines are being sued by a Louisiana artist who claims the series has been infringing the copyright on his artwork. Preston Asevedo filed the complaint in Louisiana federal court, alleging that the first season of the show about custom-built concept cars has been regularly featuring his design called "Comedy Tragedy Skulls." On “Dream Machines” (Tue., 10 p.m. Et on Syfy) 50 Cent asked the Parker Brothers Concepts team to build him his very own high-performance concept car.
The rapper challenged them to create a street-legal ride combining the best of a Formula 1 race car and a jet fighter.
As Shanon Parker showed off the incredible all-white futuristic car to a delighted 50 Cent, he highlighted some of its mindblowing features.
"It’s got the cool, heads up, battle-ready display lookin’ like you’re in a fighter jet," he said. That "Top Gun" feel was enhanced by "Touch-screen integration in the cockpit."
