smppwkfv13 March 2023
Dennis Prager's Masters Program is a must-watch documentary for anyone interested in exploring the impact of religion on modern society. While the film takes a strong stance on the importance of belief in God as a foundation for a stable society, it also offers valuable insights and perspectives for viewers of all faiths and backgrounds, including atheists.

One of the strengths of the documentary is its ability to spark important conversations about the role of religion in society and its impact on individual and collective well-being. Prager's arguments are clearly articulated and backed up by historical references and real-life examples, making it easy for viewers to follow and understand his points.

What's particularly refreshing about this film is that it invites viewers of all faiths and belief systems to engage in an open and honest dialogue about the importance of religion and its impact on society. It challenges commonly held beliefs and assumptions about the role of religion and invites viewers to consider the potential consequences of secularism becoming the dominant belief system.

Overall, Dennis Prager's Masters Program is a thought-provoking and engaging documentary that is well worth watching, regardless of one's religious or ideological beliefs. It offers valuable insights and perspectives that are sure to spark important conversations and debates about the role of religion in modern society.

Poorly Researched and Sloppy Arguments: Not Worth Your Time
jmsawatz19 April 2023
I was very disappointed with this documentary. It's unfortunate because the relationship between secularism and theism is a very interesting and a worthwhile topic to explore regardless of religious affiliation, but despite the production value of this documentary it is very sloppily made.

If you decide to watch this, CHECK EVERY CITATION FOR YOURSELF. Dennis often cites academic articles but then the actual contents of the article contradicts his point. For example, he says at one point that religious people are happier than non-religious people, and then claims that it it is illogical to remain secular because you'll be less happy. But if you actually look inside the article he mentions it says that the difference is only 4%! Despite him saying that this article proves that being religious makes you happier, the actual article itself EXPLICITLY SAYS IN THE TEXT ITSELF that this conclusion is not backed by their approach - and that there are other possible explanations for the 4% difference, such as more likely to have access to a strong community.

I would like to chalk this kind of thing up to just Dennis's team not being very careful, but it happens SO often that it really does appear that he is intentionally trying to fool his audience. I would recommend that you not waste your time.
