Questioning orders!
and_mikkelsen22 March 2023
Now we are getting close to the final, and that means we are gonna have an episode that teases what is to come as well as exploring the plotline involving the scientists!

Once again everything involving Crosshair is the best part of the episode! He really has become the most intrigueging part of the show, and the character i am most excited too see where goes! You can feel how conflicted he is now compared to earlier, loosing faith in what he believed in and questioning what is right and wrong! The scenes with him was also dark and intense!

I am excited too see how this season ends, i just hope they stick the landing!

Busy Episode
tristan_1922 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Tipping Point ups the stakes from the jump. Season 2's storylines are coming together. The doctor continues his experiments in the fallout of Crosshair's rebellion, as we get a major sky battle living up to the Star Wars name. As Echo and co come back as an angle, Chuchi continues her work on Coruscant. The Batch is still on Pabu. Tarkin operates from afar.

In the first half of the episode, you don't have time to breathe really, it's almost too fast, and in the second half, it's almost too calm. But as the episode jumbles everything together, the portrait becomes clearer and Tech and co have some revelations.

So it's an important episode. A messy one, but also a great one at the same time. It leaves you to reflect and sets the stage for the last two episodes. We're crossing the line and getting to the end game. Good episode. A light 9.

Plan 88

I am convinced that the last two episodes are going to be insane.

We see the Bad Batch integrating themselves into Pabu's society but they will never be able to settle and they know it. If it isn't them in danger and having to fight for themselves, then they need to fight for all the other clones eventually.

This episode eases us into the finale and I am convinced Filoni will throw it out of the ball park. Whether the Batch will join Rex operation or whether they'll find their quiet spot... However the Batch will end up, it will be narratively deserved, and I honestly can't wait for the conclusion of the second season.

"Star Wars is dead" - Never heard something more stupid before!
moritzherz22 March 2023
Episode 14 the Tipping Point prepares everything for a great season finale by delivering us once more the classic Star Wars magic combined with details only fans will discover.

After Crosshair was taken to the secret imperial base, he tries to escape and warns The Bad Batch of the empire which is hunting for Omega. The character of Crosshair is the most complex of this show and so it works perfectly that he resists and tries to protect The Batch. Considering the experiences he made throughout the show it makes perfectly sense. Seeing the interrogation droid from A new hope was fantastic and the imperial assault carrier (Rebels) and the V-Wings (Revenge of the Sith) were just perfect to see again. This is great fan service!

So considering this season offered at least 5 epiaodes of extraordinary quality the ceitics are proven wrong that this franchise is dying. Yes, the numbers for The Mandalorian are not as good as they could be, but just take a look at Marvel or Pixar or Disney's own productions. Conpared to that garbage the Star Wars content is a masterpiece. The biggest problem is that most people did not watch this beautiful show and therefore missed something that could have changed their mind.

Anyways I am really looking forward to the season finale, the hype is real, so let's start to make some theories!

The Crosshair episodes always end up being the best!

Warning: Spoilers
I like where we're going here with this episode. We're going to be in for a ride in the next two weeks.

I love the aspects of the Bad Batch when they just embrace the Empire and give us those awesome storylines about the Clones and their replacements. The Bad Batch themselves had never really been my favorite part of the show.

Something is bubbling under the surface with that imperial officer guy. His character is interesting and i want to see what happens with him.

I hope Omega gets some more development and we get to see why she has been so prominent in this show

Overall, I can't wait for next week.

Clone Troops Resistance!
soleserm22 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
As the second season reaches its end, the episodes are getting really intriguing.

Focusing on the Clones' resistance (yes, it is a resistance movement, after all) and sub-plotting Crosshair against the scientists' dark intensions, I get the feeling that the season will offer a spectacular closure.

In this episode, we can see Crosshair has already switched sides: from an obedient post-order 66 driven Clone, to a discarded clone fighting for his life and his integrity. In the meantime, Echo and a group of rogue Clones free some clone prisoners, after a well organised raid in one prison freighter. And as Crosshair struggles against the ruthless scientists who designate all Clones to become experiment objects, he manages to warn the Bad Batch about the Empire's plans on getting them back. Which means getting Omega back.

I had always believed that Crosshair would play a vital role in the Arc, as well as Echo. Seldomly a presumed dead man returns to action (referring to Clone Wars S07), unless there's a considerable script plot around him. I also get the feeling that the scientists will reveal some kind of connection to the sequel-based Palpatine cloning, but maybe this guess is a long shot. In any case, in terms of story, the whole thing will lead to an impressive finale.

I miss Captain Rex though. I was delighted to see more Clones, and Echo's come back to action.

What Bad Batch Should Be
clementstephena22 March 2023
My review of the last episode highlighted how the episode captured all of the series' weakest points. Somehow, in the episode directly following, they captured all of what makes Bad Batch good and all that it could be.

We see good, quality action. The scenes are stellar. The episode villain and character struggles are realistic and more relatable. We see meaningful plot development that moves the overall narrative forward. Omega feels more tolerable as she is channeling her go-lucky attitude into actually practical and useful skills. The episode has less Omega in it, which is a win overall.

This episode reminds me of the best of the Clone Wars series and highlights what I think this show could be. It is more serious and a little more gritty, which I think appeals well to both Star Wars' younger and committed older audiences and has something to keep everyone engaged. If the series wraps up with episodes all of this quality, I would be eager for season 3. Hopefully this isn't just the single hit winner of this series and hopefully the creators take some of this feedback into consideration for the creation of their future Star Wars series.

Creators, check the IMDB episode ratings from your viewers. You have some real winners like this, but also duds. Learn from your wins and mistakes and we will love you for it!

Rebels Nostalgia
DonLukeBeck23 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Gregor with Rex saving Howzer and the others is a good set up for what's to come to the old clones. It has been almost a decade since we saw them in Rebels and finally getting to know their adventures up until that point is what a lot of fans have been waiting for.

The episode has been one of the best in the series, and brings the same feelings as the Victory and Death finale from Clone Wars. This is not the end of the journey for the Bad Batch, as they won't settle on a remote island, while their brothers are suffering in imperial imprisonment and Omega's life is in danger, it's just another beginning.

Crosshair's Redemption?
atkinsonlouise-7387315 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
As setup to the finale, this episode did its job. The Batch reunite with Echo who is trying to find more clones who have been imprisoned and what happened to them. Meanwhile after the incident on Barton-4, Crosshair is in an imperial prison and attempts to escape. Dr. Hemlock seems fairly menacing, although I would like to learn more about him. Also, people moaning this is too kiddy, you got some adult scenes and conversations in this episode. It appears the Batch will go to save Crosshair and I imagine their will be a fight with the doctor. Interested to see how season two ends. It's been another fun season of Star Wars content.

It's in the title!

Warning: Spoilers
Really good stuff here.

The opening scene is probably an all-timer for this series. It was quick, entertaining, easy to understand what was going on, and legitimately pretty intense. Star Wars's animated shows have always been good about upping the intensity in a way the live-action nature just doesn't (for the most part, not all of the time).

I feel for Crosshair too. I have a feeling they'll try to redeem him before the season is over. His scenes in this were surprisingly dark and brutal compared to the rest of the season. It's pretty jarring comparing the darker episodes of this series to the "adventure-of-the-week" episodes aimed for younger kids.

The Bad Batch are wrapped back up in yo this now too thankfully.

And the Doctor is such a great villain so far.

Actually pretty excited to finish this season now.

Seen as an episode vs as the whole
Badger121023 March 2023
As an episode which is connected to a few others, this is a good episode that is only filled with a few filler scenes or acts by a character. So. I would rank this a 7 out of 10 based upon that.

If I view this in the totality of the season, this rating drops because it is misplaced; this should have been episode 2 or three. This should have been on the build up towards a climatic mid season act. As it is it is out of place amongst the other misplaced episodes and still others that should not have been told.

So, I give this a 5 out of 10 based as seen with the season in view. This criticism lands solely on the idiocy of the showrunners and their inability to tell a cohesive story.
