'Taz' is a mutt who had been adopted as a puppy through Jersey Animal Coalition (JAC) 14 years ago. Now, a senior dog, he had been abandoned once again and began suffering from debilitating paralysis in his hind legs. JAC took up his cause once again, and this time, bought him a custom wheelchair so that he can regain his quality of life and look for a new owner. The film celebrates the commitment and love of those who rescue abandoned animals. It celebrates JAC's promise to its pets, no matter what age or disability. And it celebrates and teaches us about Taz' courage and resilience (traits we can identify with through him) as he begins his new chapter as a disabled but optimistic dog.
