It's just sad to see what SNL has become

I have been an Saturday night live fan since the very first episode. I have seen all of the cast changes, some were great, some were quite bad like in the 80's. But changes were made and it got better.

This seasons line-up is horrible, at least the new additions last year and this year.

This episode was just horrible with bad bunny as the host. It's like they packed the audience with 13 year old girls that screamed about nothing and laughed when there was nothing to laugh about.

The writing was horrible I didn't crack a smile all episode. Even weekend update was lame this week.

Find better cast, better writers and better hosts.

Even cameos by Mick Jagger were horrible.

Come on SNL, You can do it!!!

Masterclass

Genuinely think that Marcelo is exactly what SNL needs. He's the perfect new face of the show. Also major epic bonus points that the 2 best sketches of the night were 80% in spanish and 100% in spanish. I don't speak a lick of spanish and thought both sketches were some of the best I've seen in years.

Pedro Pascal, Fred Armisen and Mick Jagger just randomly popping into sketches was awesome.

I will say that while I do find Mikey Day very versatile and amusing at times, it baffles me how he's becomes such a main part of every sketch. He's mid and his voice annoys me.

Last thought is that Bad Bunny was pretty good considering he's super not great at english, Ego nailed her weekend update impression and Bowen is able to add to a sketch even if he's a side character, which is a rare trait.

Cast members ranked: Good tier: Marcelo, Bowen, Kenan, Che, Jost, Ego, Chloe Fineman Fine tier: Mikey, Devon, Heidi, JAJ Could easily be replaced: Andrew, Molly, Chloe Troast Potential is there: Punkie, Sarah Hired only because they look like Bill Hader: Michael.
