Murder Drones Episode 4 - Cabin Fever Review
godzillagaming77016 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Murder Drones episode 4 is my second favourite episode (for now... It'll probably change when the final 2 episodes drop). I will probably divide this review into multiple sections explaining why its my second favourite episode, also this is MY opinion so ya.

So first things first I'll talk about... The Pacing! The pacing in this episode was, excellent (in my opinion don't shame me) even though the pacing seems all over the place at first (eg. The flashback out of nowhere :3, scene randomly cutting to a different scene) and it may be overwhelming at first but it allows the plot to go through multiple plot points that would otherwise take multiple episodes... The pacing also allows for the episode to never feel like a slog to go through.

Next I'll cover the elephant in the room... Which is the ATMOSPHERE (and animation) !!! The atmosphere of this episode was PHENOMENAL, from the eerie atmosphere of camp 98.7 to the downright horrifying Solver Uzi scene this episode and to the extremely wholesome Falling For You..? Scene. Anyways the reason i kinda sidelined it is mainly cuz Episode 3's animation was soo good that this episode is kind of overshadowed... But! That does not mean that the animation is bad, the entire Solver Uzi sequence was amazingly animated, from the way Uzi and V move and fight it was AMAZING!

Alright, Now I'm going to talk about the MUSIC (and of course voice acting). The music of this episode is probably one of the strongest in the series, from the eerie track 98.7, to the banger of the track that is Solver Uzi, and the extremely wholesome song that plays between Uzi and N called falling for you..? The music was just FANTASTIC! And another highlight of this episode was the Amazing voice actors and actresses, but I kinda sidelined it because every episode also feature these amazing voice actors and actresses and this review is why this episode is my second favourite episode in Murder Drones so I will not go into it much.

Another reason why I love this episode so much is because of the CHARACTERS. More specifically, the main trio each had their moment where they undergo character development, such as Uzi when she realizes that bottling up all your emotions does not solve anything (get it..? Because Absolute Solver??? What am I doing with my life..) and she learns to open up to N (after she murder a bunch of people). And our best boy N also got massive character development, as he learned to stand up against others and chose to fight to protect Uzi. Heck, even our sexy murder robot V got character development as at the end she lied to the teacher to protect Uzi.

CONCLUSION This episode has amazing pacing, animation, atmosphere, music, characters and voice acting... Deserved 10/10 honestly. Also my only nitpick with this episode was that the death of the drones were treated so nochalantly as they were just killed and there was no consequences... That's all... this article took 30 min to write ;-;
