Very good finale but short and should have done more
This show has been excellent. One of the best TV shows to come out in the past years, and it outshines everything else Disney has done in a long while, including most movies.
They did not completely nail the landing though, and it is mainly because of the short runtime. 20min more and this would likely been another 10/10. We did not get a proper finale for our two new characters, and it would have been interesting to see at least one more scene of Thrawn back in the main galaxy. Not to mention the Mortis God's and all that comes with that. It is good to tease and end in a cliffhanger, but I think this was a bit too much, almost annoying. A small complaint is that the episode also felt more like a video game rather than TV episode. It was almost like you could feel the level up and boss fights.
Everything else was great as usual. The music score is so good in this show. Not just the music, but the entire sound design is so amazing.
Great ending to the first season, but I want more, and we probably should have got more. 8/10.
