Ferry + Marr = Right Stuff

Indeed, the right stuff! When you put Bryan Ferry (Roxy Music) with Johnny Marr (The Smiths) in one junction the result can only be perfect for two classic rock stars. Some will complain there's no originality in its notes since Marr uses of his riff from Smiths "Money Changes Everything" which is an instrumental track to enahnce this one as basis, but there's the whole input made by Ferry which turns this into a fun, sexy song to hear. And Marr is also present in the video after performing in the track for the album.

Here, the duo along with other performers play the song, all filmed on a frantic style with fast cuts and some close-ups that also includes a couple of young women dancing, other times those dancers are obscured in a shadowy way in the background. Everyone is having a great time with their performances. Plenty of class and style (as usual with Mr. Ferry, check out Roxy's "Avalon" which is mesmerizing), very in tune with that decade. And this union between Ferry and Marr was pretty good, and quite interesting to see the latter used his base material, lent to the other to add some lyrics and the fusion worked quite alright, nothing to complain about it. Pretty awesome. 8/10.
