I've always loved this show, but this season makes no sense. The whole cartel thing was just thrown in and didn't actually add much to the story, everyone ends up being a bad guy but I don't really care by the time I figure it out, and this episode was bizarre.
Chen Fao gets shot and no one does anything to try to help him. If his death is the direction they wanted to take, they could have done it a looot better. The only reason he got shot is because he went back for a stuffed rabbit. Then his injury doesn't even look that bad, but they all act like he's a goner. Then at the airfield, Jack stays behind to "hold them off" but does literally nothing, then hops in the helicopter. Why couldn't they just all get on the plane or immediately jump in the helicopter? It kinda feels like a middle school kid wrote this season and can't figure out how to move the plot forward without being obvious and disconnected. Maybe just let season 3 be the last season for you..
