A gritty and 1st person look at the violent border of the US and Mexico
mickmerivel18 September 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Over 10 years in the making, American Federale is an excellent Documentary that exposes the drug cartels and the Mexican and United States relationship from the first hand knowledge of the only American that served as a Mexican Federale. Filmed over ten years and virtually banned by most festivals for fear of some form of bad press, this shocking and graphic look at a subject most press and media avoid is presented in its raw truth. In a day when the documentary field is heavily focused on the economy and the middle east and terror, this is an almost unbelievable subject playing out on the literal border of the United States. Helping Americans and Mexicans save their border towns, American Federale is a must see, and it was a pleasure to be part of it coming to fruition.
