Ken Patera (w/Captain
Lou Albano) defeated Billy White Wolf (
Adnan Al-Kaissy) with the Full Nelson in the main event. Patera refused to break the hold until several wrestlers and referees got involved and White Wolf was taken out on a stretcher. This was Al-Kaissy's last-ever match on WWE TV in the Billy White Wolf gimmick, and his last match on WWE TV for 13 years. To sell the injury, White Wolf and
Chief Jay Strongbow surrendered the WWWF World Tag Team Titles in August. Al-Kaissy resurfaced in Hawaii as White Wolf later in the year, abandoning the gimmick after a loss to
Don Muraco on January 29, 1980. He was repackaged in the American Wrestling Association (Minneapolis, Minnesota) as Sheik Adnan Al-Kaissie in 1981, and kept it until he returned to WWE in 1990 as General Adnan.
