- Tim Seebach is a star. His role as TV inspector "Lux" made the charming actor popular, but the great success went to his head. When he was injured while filming, he no longer had any excuse to postpone his long-planned visit to his mother in Bremerhaven. The morning after his arrival, his mother suddenly died. After the initial shock is over, Tim - in his "Lux" role - calls the police because he is convinced that mother Hedi has been killed. Police Chief Inspector Wiebke Tönnessen, the head of the local police station, considers his murder theory to be complete nonsense. But then a murder really happens. Now Tim can no longer be stopped. Uninvited, he interferes in Wiebke's investigation, who of course doesn't want to be told anything by a vain television commissioner and refuses to interfere in any way. However, "competitor" Wiebke can hardly slow Tim down. Following daring theories, he questions suspects, including: Hannah Lübker, the murder victim's confident ex-wife. Tim's childhood friend, the Watt carriage driver Erik Festerkotten, and the grumpy neighbor Ms. Jessen remain just as unimpressed by Tim's star behavior as Hannah and hold a mirror up to him with North German objectivity. Back home, the pompous superstar finally regains his footing and learns that real bonds are more important in life than hair dye and wrinkle creams - and solves his first real crime.—ADR Das Erste
