A wonderful short film from a wonderful short story.

Huge potential here for a full film with the same sensitive cast if Yan Ge were given the support.

Bravo to all involved in its production. Lila Coleman and Chris Walley (with a full head of hair) excel in this subtle snapshot of the authors tale.

Disappointed in the two scores of 1 reviews, too long for social, too short for a series episode. Both annoyed not completed.

As it is, it's like catching a forbidden conversation on a bus or at a restaurant, the record fish that broke the line to live their days unforgotten. I'd love a sliding doors version because the two leads are so strong, but could take the tale outcome decided.

Bravo RTE, now dig a little deeper, get Film Four to help make it into a full film!

Wow, this was really great, the main actor was a breath of fresh air, acting was very believable and a great start of a story, but we needed more!

Movie or series (I'd prefer series) this needed to keep going. You teased us and left us hanging. I really liked how the writers captured the story of a foreigner in Ireland and the narration by the main character

There's not many good movies and series being churned out these days, (especially Netflix) so when I finally came across this one by accident, I was hooked.

Maybe they will get more budgeting in the future and pick up where they left off.

Forgettable , cringe, boring & terrible.

What a load of rubbish. RTE can't make good drama. Here is a good example of that . What was the point of this ? The lead actor is terrible, sorry it's just the truth . David Rawle's performance stood out, he's got a future in acting. Chris Walley didn't have much to work with and seemed to hone in his best version of Paul Mescal imitation, Walley is talented but this role gave him 0 to work with. Why is the story about some self obsessed journalist ? Shouldn't it focus on the dude that literally committed suicide. How did she fall in love with him in 30 minutes . So unoriginal . RTE trash!

I just fail to see the point of its existence. It seems to be made for no good reason. Something should only be greenlit if it offers something new or interesting . This offered nothing. It's such a shame Ireland is such a terrible place when it comes to home made dramas . RTE don't know what entertainment is.

I had to write this review because the damn thing was so awful . If you are going to put work out in the world then make sure it's you know good.

I'd rather watch Ryan Tubridy doing the gardening than watch this again.

David Rawle is a future star. Don't know the guy but credit is due where credit is due. Chris Walley has the acting chops too, he shouldn't have taken this role , it's beneath him.

Out of budget? Why make this movie?

The story is about a young Chinese woman, of 27 years old, who studies journalism. She meets a man at a foreign language film club and after the movie they go to a pub to drink and talk. Later that night she noticed he accepted her friend request. The next day, when she checked his account, she saw the messages his friends left, that referred to him passing.

It had a nice story line. Acting is fine also. I actually liked the movie, until it abruptly ended after 27 minutes.

It raised the question if they perhaps were going for a full movie and ran out of money?

A movie should have an ending. A bad, good or open one. This one had absolutely no ending. I fail to see the reason why they would make this movie at all.

I tried really hard to like this movie and while there are one or two decent performances this movie is awful. The plot is weak and at times completely ridiculous. Very disappointing.

Tired, poorly acted, unoriginal...keep going, nothing worth seeing here.

Do yourself a favour go watch an hour of Sesame Street, it will be time better spent. The script and actions / behaviours of the characters in this are beyond implausible. Its like it was written be a 12 year old child. Bits and pieces hold your attention but lose it with a ridiculous plot. Everything seems like a cardboard cutout. Maybe that was the point, to try to get across.
