What the hell, Oh My God, No Way
Ptipana2 November 2023
Oh my god, this episode surpassed my expectations and left me speechless. I wasn't expecting this episode to be this intense. Within the first three minutes, I couldn't help but pause and rush to IMDb to give it a well-deserved 10 out of 10 rating. As I continued watching, it didn't disappoint at all; it was perfect perfect. In every minute of it. It wasn't a waste of time at all, and it truly stands as a masterpiece. The episode followed the manga faithfully. The climax of the episode was breathtaking, with a shocking revelation that changed everything. And even if you have read the manga, this episode will manage to surpass your expectations and imagination and surprise you.

Setting my calendar for next Thursday

Warning: Spoilers
Before I begin, I heard on social media that the storyboard director, Hiroshi Seko, (I believe) is going through some mental health issues or self verbal abuse if you will. I hope he gets better in every way possible and hopefully someone in his life will encourage him to realize how wonderful of an individual he truly is.

Now onto the review: Incredible to say the least.

First off, the Toji stuff at the start was wonderful. The animators have done a fantastic job at showing how fast and powerful he is and has exceeded the manga work thus far.

Along with showing the evil nature of the king of curses. In my reading of the Shibuya arc, I felt like this arc was finally gonna show how inhumane, cruel and savage Sukuna truly is and man they've done an excellent job with that. Especially since this is only part 1 of the destruction that Sukuna is gonna show.

If I'm Gege(the author) watching this episode, I'm shedding tears of joy seeing my material get excelled by this hardworking studio. This and Red Scale are two of my favorites in the entire show.

Insane tension and development!!
and_mikkelsen2 November 2023
This episode was absolutely crazy in more than one aspect! If it wasn't the fight, then it was the development around Yuji Itadori and the appearance of Jogo!

This episode was a wild rollercoaster at first with the crazy fight... Toji vs Dagon! Yeah i think it was just as good as I could imagine, when we have seen Toji fight before!

The mood and vibe though really changed in the second half! I was left in SHOCK!!! I could not move or breathe! I was like..eh??.. and then something crazy happened! The atmosphere was dark and disturbing! It was like.. something wasn't right anymore! Like something really bad is about to happen and we have yet to see the REAL Shibuya Incident!

Sukuna has his own plans..

JJK S2-Ep 15 - The definition of peak foreshadowing
SLKE_3 November 2023
This episode was peak on so many levels. The animation incredible, the plotline immaculate, the foreshadowing ungodly. This episode was by far one of the most intense with the amazing sound design as well we are introduced to some characters from the past and for all of the manga readers this episode will spark such an intense feeling in you, making you long for more. MAPA has done an amazing job in formulating such a highly crafted piece that brings together the elements for the future episodes. This episode has so many hidden details that are amazing to see when watching it for the first time.

best episode so far
mahaannazari2 November 2023
Everything was awesome. The way they showed how powerful Toji, Jogo and Sukuna are was top notch. The show just had a leap in seriousness and it showed. Loved it. Just awesome.

The added gore I'm ok with, it shows how serious everything is getting and man the way they made Toji and Sukuna entrances so horrifying was very well done. Awesome Episode all the way, definitely the best episode of the show so far.

It has to become the show's first 9.9 episode it was flawless. It had no slow down, 20 minutes of pure action and it was so good I had to rate it and write a review.

Can't wait for the rest of Shibuya to get animated.

WILD EPISODE
david-612883 November 2023
Warning: Spoilers
WOW, we are definitely in an incident, toji and sukuna were the mvp of this episode, pure chaos and violence in this episode. What can I say, we are in a streak of incredible and increasingly surprising episodes, if this continues like this for me Jujutsu Kaisen would be a top shonen anime, unlike many other shows of the same genre, here you feel the tension and danger of a true war, where the protagonists risk their lives, and that makes it even cooler, SUKUNA has proven to be a true monster and Toji being brutal as always, I can't wait for next week, SUKUNA VS JOGO will be FIRE. PEAK PEAK JJK.

One of the best and SCARIEST anime episodes ever witnessed
ICtolic1826 November 2023
WOW. This episode gave me such tension, madness, acceleration of events, SHOCK, and scariness that was unlike anything that I have ever felt in an anime. For a while, I completely forgot that I was watching an anime, instead witnessing a horror movie.

The first phase, where Toji fought against Dagon, was one of the most stunning, well-animated and exhilarating fights of Jujutsu Kaisen ever made. Also, it was in a water domain, and I love so much water, but it was also surprising that Toji was able to effortlessly defeat Dagon. This was definitely one of the best anime fights of 2023.

But the second part, OH MY GOD, I will never forget it. When Sukuna was resurrected and dealt so much carnage around him, I was GENUINELY shocked and scared. Just insane, man. Really insane.

Really can't wait for his fight against Jogo!

Wow, just wow 🔥

What a masterpiece, what a production, what interventions, what a narration, acceleration of events, shocks, and madness after madness... the best episode of all the Jujutsu Kaisen... great woven twists, visual creativity techniques, crazy... the dialogues, the elegance, the appearance of Toji and Sukuna, and Sukuna's dialogue in the end. The drawing of events, dialogues, and the atmosphere in general were very great.. An iconic episode that is impossible to forget, and this is not the first time this anime has made me stand up with excitement.. Each episode is better than the one before it, and the narrative plotting keeps you hooked throughout the episode and mesmerized by this art.. I cannot describe this masterpiece. Other than 10/10..just 10/10.

Definitely gonna be my favourite Episode mahoraga fits as perfectly as it was shown in manga animators did it even better the choice of background music was top notch.
