In the premiere edition of Cooper's Coffee, the podcast participants try to create nothing less than the best television station in the world. Which program colors absolutely have to be included, which programs have lost nothing on our premium station and how could one generally inspire the whole of humanity for television again and again? Sebastian Lätsch, Julian Miller, Manuel Nunez Sanchez, Glenn Riedmeier, Sidney Schering, Jan Schlüter and Antje Wessels know how to do it.

It happened: ZDF actually has every hope in "Wetten, dass..?" Lost and will sink the show steamer under Captain Lanz at the end of the year. This exceptional situation causes the team of Coopers Kaffee to join the special service unscheduled. Glenn Riedmeier, Manuel Nunez Sanchez, Sebastian Lätsch and Jan Schlüter investigate the reasons for the surrender and consider whether this step was really unavoidable. Is it really the audience's fault, which now allegedly has new "visual habits" or could the show have been saved with another presenter? Is it smart to use the brand "Bet, that..?" Just give up like that? And where should Chris de Burgh and Veronica Ferres present their new works in the future? This and more in the new edition of Cooper's coffee.

"At the end of January, Kevin Spacey began to smile down from every billboard in America. He sat there in a large presidential chair, just like the marble Lincoln in his memorial, his hands rested on the backrests, and only from close you could see how the blood hit them. From the beginning of February, he was then seen in the role of democratic faction leader Francis Underwood in personnel policy making in Washington. Now it's March, and the state of affairs is as follows: Against Spacey's Underwood, Machiavelli was a nice, unsuspecting simple, against Washington, every minefield is a resort, and director David Fincher did well to quickly move out the next season, because with a whole people on withdrawal is no joke." Peter Richter at Süddeutsche.de about the start of the US series "House of Cards" in spring 2013.

The Coopers coffee team has once again done what it likes to do most: television. In two update issues, we exchange ideas about what we have seen in recent weeks. In the first part, Sebastian Lätsch, Jan Schlüter, Manuel Nunez Sanchez and Glenn Riedmeier chat about news on German TV. How successful was Bastian Pastewka's ZDF drama series "Tomorrow stop", was "Schulz & Böhmermann" able to keep up with his predecessor, and are "Circus HalliGalli" and the "Neo Magazine Royale" still worth seeing? Also: How do we rate the new RTL II Boulevard satire "Starshine" with Collien Ulmen-Fernandes, have we become Quizaddicts thanks to "Gefragt - Gejagt" and are we happy about the continuation of "Schlag den Star" as a live show with Elton?

The most exciting conversations about TV Developments sometimes take place outside of the actual podcast recordings. Therefore, for this new issue, we thought that we would now simply move our "TV Real Talk" about linear television consumption, Netflix, Amazon, series and entertainment shows into the podcast.

Ziggy played guitar, and Cooper's coffee went on a big journey this summer: green nature, a blue lake, gloomy forests, a few wooden huts and, of course, campfire atmosphere. Welcome to the summer camp! Basti, Frederic, Glenn, Manuel and Jan traveled at the invitation of a sponsor and were in a good mood. You won't believe what discovery they make shortly after arriving in their camp hut... You can listen to the recording of our great summer adventure here. From the minute 21:00 the main part of the podcast begins - for everyone TV fans.

And then everything came all of a sudden. The other day we talked about the US hit of the current season ROSEANNE, and a tweet later is all over. After the racist statements of Roseanne Barr, the network ABC is now separating from the sitcom and Viacom is also discontinuing the broadcast of the first nine seasons on its channels. How we assess the situation, what we can expect from Barr in the future and how we finally found the last season of Roseanne, we discuss in this spontaneous edition. Which, by the way, was recorded so suddenly that Basti had to quickly stock up with a box of tipping and a lighter at the Späti at the beginning of the episode.

"Don't make me kill you again." Just in time for the scary days around Halloween, Basti, Jan and Freddi just wanted to sit down, solder away a few Yankee candles and talk about American Horror Story. Which seasons did we like best? Where did we have to stop? How does Ryan Murphy always breathe new life into the anthology? And: What to expect from the new Season Apocalypse? We have answered all these questions. But who could have guessed that the greatest horror does not take place in the USA, but actually in Cooper's coffee fund?

Dear listeners and diverse... with a little pride we present you the 100th Episode of Cooper's coffee, in which we don't talk about series, shows and media, but about what really interests us: ourselves. We get to know each other, get to know each other better, read something to ourselves and contest food challenges. And the whole thing even happens as part of a big live show. Lots of Love... Your boys.

We continue to travel through the decades and meet our buddy Manuel Nunez-Sanchez at the fourth wormhole on the left, who spontaneously sits down with us in the flux compensator. Together we dance in the Time Warp in the middle of the 2010s, where no one is in the mood for television anymore, too many are politicizing themselves and good music is missing in the charts. But we also discuss the highlights of the past decade, because German series are reinventing themselves, concerts become real highlights and football created a good atmosphere. Buckle up and jump to the left, please!

There it is now, the long-awaited streaming portal from the online giant Apple. Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, all this should be nothing more. For months we sat spellbound in front of the screens and pressed F5 again and again until Apple TV Plus was finally live - and then that. But listen for yourself what Basti, Jan and Freddi have to say.

Did Freddi really nail someone to the cross when he graduated from school? Did Basti have contact with a Titanic survivor? Did Jan kill his father's pet frog? And was Glenn's wardrobe full of Hawaiian jomes? It should be such a cozy evening in our Cologne shared flat. Supermarket visit on Friday evening, homemade burgers and a few Golden Longs. But many beers, Jackie Cola and Prosecco later Cooper's shared flat friends and special guest Glenn unpack the stories from their past: "Two Truths and a Lie"...

Guaranteed not as the last podcast, we look back on the "Wetten, dass..?" revival. How embarrassing was Thommy? What moments did we love? Or was the show actually a single outcry? We also discuss, among other things, why candidates have to be so instagramable today. Finally, we look at other revivals: Next to "Go all out!" It's also about "TV Total" and other revivals that we wish for.

Dear diary, sorry that I get in touch so rarely. I put together a fat package for you today. I spoil you the new season "LOL" from Amazon Prime Video, Basti and Freddi are talking about "Gladbeck" and I also have the new season "Stranger Things" in my luggage. For the first time, there is a "hot button round": Series and movies are discussed very quickly and only until the hot button strikes.

And now it has happened: In the new chapter of our TV diary, we discuss four new series, of which actually not a single one is available on Netflix. So let's wander into the depths of Disney+, Sky and the ARD Mediathek, because here too we always find interesting series. Whether this was worth it, we will discuss in today's episode.

Actually, we should know better and yet we go once again to the haunted house in Bippingen, where we find strange video cassettes that give us riddles and we can talk about the new horror series Goosebumps, The Fall of the House of Usher and American Horror Story: Delicate. And one thing is certain again this time: blood will flow. Sheesh...

Big show steamer or old dredging? We're talking about the last episode of Wetten, dass under Thomas Gottschalk. Again. Well, that's just how it is. Today we will discuss for you how the last episode with Thommy compared to the other last episodes with Thommy. And risk a shitstorm themselves, but no one listens to us anymore. Have fun!

"We've been doing podcasts for 10 years, and only once we were sick, 39 fevers. And we were more professional than whole bunches here together." According to Heinz Wäscher, we look back on ten years of Cooper's coffee, on special episodes and on recordings that we would no longer make today. Many thanks also to you listeners for your loyalty and your continued interest in what we are producing here. But also more about that in the podcast...
