Sex & Nudity

- Some Personas have descriptions that directly mention sex. Others can be phallic-shaped or have exposed breasts.
- One dungeon is modeled after a strip club, but nothing is shown. The dungeon's boss is a pole-dancing monster.
- One male character is shown wearing little more than a loincloth. He talks in a exaggerated suggestive tone with occasional innuendo.
- There is no sex or nudity.
Violence & Gore

- While there are some violent scenes referenced, in-game violence is borderline cartoonish. Characters use melee weapons (one uses a handgun) and their Persona abilities to defeat enemies.
- Pixilated blood is sometimes shown in combat, and some environments have colorful blood stains on the walls and floors.
Profanity

- The following curse words appear in dialogue: "damn", "hell", "crap", "bastard", "ass", and "shit".

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The storyline involves investigating a series of bizarre murders. The plot can get somewhat frightening as it progresses.
- Some sequences can be rather emotional or even depressing for some players. These explore themes like low self-esteem, death of loved ones, strained relationships, acceptance (both personal and from others), social pressure, etc.
- After opening a certain amount of (normal) chests in a dungeon players may experience a rattling sound which indicates that the grim reaper is imminent. The is a chance that after hearing this you may be told not to open a chest. If you do open it, then you'll face the reaper and you DON'T want a game over.
Spoilers
Sex & Nudity
- At one point a character loses his swimming briefs accidentally. Afterwards he is given seaweed as a replacement. No actual nudity is shown and this scene is comical in context.
- An animated cutscene shows some female characters commenting on another girl's breasts (closeup included). The girls are covered by only towels in this scene, but no actual nudity is shown.
Profanity
- One character named Kanji Tatsumi frequently uses swear words although in one scene near the end (in a hospital room) another male character uses them to express his anger to a suspected murderer.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
- The main characters go drinking to a club in one scene, and later on some of them begin to show signs of intoxication. At the end it is revealed that none of them actually consumed alcohol.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The main antagonist of the game is depicted as extremely mentally deranged and twisted in his logic. Though we never see the direct death of a character he kills 2 people and shows no remorse. He is also highly deceptive and the sudden change of personality may be intimidating.
