Owen Wilson may have been in the MCU ever since he joined Loki led by Tom Hiddleston back in 2021, but the actor recently got an offer that most of the Marvel’s stars can’t boast of.
Seemingly a one-in-a-million opportunity that would make him a fortune, the offer was nonetheless quick to be shut down — and the problem here lies in the upcoming movie’s very controversial storyline.
Apart from being one of Hollywood’s biggest actors with a lot of acclaimed works under his belt, Owen Wilson, to his fans’ pure delight, also appears to be a man of his word with solid morality.
As director Joshua Newton has recently revealed, Wilson turned down his generous offer of $12 million to star in Newton’s upcoming crime thriller The Juice. The film will presumably tell the truth about O.J. Simpson’s scandalous arrest following his wife Nicole Brown Simpson’s murder.

Loki star Owen Wilson is still not letting O. J. Simpson off the hook for the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. Charlotte Kirk would like to set the record straight.
The actress at the center of two Hollywood sex scandals has already spoken out once, claiming in the spring of 2019 that she had a consensual affair with Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara.
But now Kirk wants to speak out again, this time to tell what she says is the true story — the one she was paid millions to cover up. The catch is that she has been forbidden from doing so, first by an arbitrator and then by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge.
Kirk’s firsthand account has nevertheless become part of the public record. In two sworn declarations filed in court last week, Kirk laid out a story of sexual misconduct at the upper echelons of Hollywood. She also said that she had suffered emotional anguish and the total destruction of her career.

Hug your loved ones, reflect quietly on your life’s better moments or make peace with your God because according to The Wrap, a living human being is going to spend $65M to make a thriller out of the Nicole Brown-Simpson murder case where O.J. Simpson was acquitted due to a wardrobe malfunction. That human being is Joshua Newton, who most recently wrote and directed the not-good Iron Cross. The idea behind An American Mystery (no kidding) is to present more suspects and more information in order to shift the story into the mystery genre. No word yet on how Hercule Poirot will be involved, but Newton has already cast newcomer Charlotte Kirk (who will be seen in a small role in the Liam Neeson thriller Non-Stop) as Brown-Simpson. Naturally, the project also has the backing of several former athletes and current politicians. Because, you know, why not. While I fully recognize we’ve reached such...
